00:05:23couple months I've done a lot of things that I regret things I may not be

00:07:18huge fan of you I love old-timers like you and I'm sure you're out here to
00:07:27announce some giant legends contract that you just signed but and believe me
00:07:33you deserve it but if we're gonna talk about things that are deserved allow me
00:07:38to talk about myself for a minute
00:07:45guy like me a guy like me who deserves to be the u.s. champion not LA Knight
00:07:52and not Andrade a guy like me if it's okay with you I'd like to maybe give you
00:08:03a little friendly advice I've been in the ring with LA Knight before and the
00:08:10guy is relentless

00:12:38what you got if you can beat AJ Styles right now I'll make a real convincing
00:12:46case to Nick Otis that you can get the shot that you so hardly think you
00:12:50deserve at the US Championship

00:14:23at stake for Hayes Corey knockoff Styles LA Knight sees he's going to talk to the
00:14:27general manager to give Carmelo Hayes the United States championship match
00:14:31leave it to the megastar LA Knight to sweeten the pot even more as though that
00:14:35needed to be any sweeter this is Carmelo Hayes one-on-one with one of the
00:14:38greatest to ever step foot in a ring the phenomenal AJ Styles what Carmelo Hayes
00:14:43could possibly do tonight could make all of the difference in his career
00:14:47knocking off a surefire future Hall of Famer like Styles on AJ's first night
00:14:51back that is a massive potential feather in the cap of Carmelo Hayes Carmelo Hayes
00:14:56tied three wins apiece in his big battle against Andrade taking the fight now to
00:15:00AJ Styles the former two-time WWE champion
00:15:03I'm going to put the shoe on the other foot for a moment you'd have to imagine that AJ
00:15:06Styles freshly coming back to SmackDown would love an opportunity in the future
00:15:10to become United States champion yet again particularly at the expense of the
00:15:14man who defeated him at WrestleMania LA Knight and speaking of championships you
00:15:17have to wonder Corey what Carmelo Hayes thinks about his old running buddy
00:15:20Trick Williams winning the NXT championship over Ethan Page on the
00:15:24debut of NXT and the CW this past Tuesday night
00:15:27Congratulations to everybody at NXT an unbelievable night we all got to enjoy together
00:15:32right now Carmelo Hayes dropkick by Styles AJ Styles and Nashville have had
00:15:38a love affair over the years it was back all the way in the year 2000 Corey where
00:15:43AJ Styles debuted in this city as part of the NWA anniversary show he won a TNAX
00:15:49title here an NWA championship here tag team titles here as well AJ Styles loves
00:15:55wrestling in Nashville I was in the building very first night they were here
00:15:59in Nashville but Carmelo Hayes now has an opportunity to really separate
00:16:04himself from the pack we talked a lot over recent weeks between Hayes and
00:16:07Andrade and how crowded the middle of the card is right now particularly
00:16:11potential challengers for LA Knights championship a win tonight would
00:16:15definitely do that for Carmelo Hayes well you mentioned AJ Styles he's a
00:16:18former three-time United States champion in his own right and AJ Styles
00:16:25has enough respect for this industry AJ knows he's got to climb his way back up
00:16:29the ladder AJ doesn't expect to just walk in the door and receive a WWE
00:16:33championship opportunity AJ knows that this card that well look out oh it's
00:16:39and Carmelo Hayes my god cover by Hayes Styles kicks out but what a move by the
00:16:46uber-athletic Carmelo Hayes what I was in the process of saying is AJ realizes
00:16:51that the landscape has changed just in a short few months that AJ's been away
00:16:55Carmelo Hayes wants to bear the flag cover here by Hayes floats into the
00:16:58cover and Styles gets the shoulder up now AJ Styles he has had some in-ring
00:17:03action over the summer the much ballyhooed and publicity driven matchup
00:17:09of course in pro wrestling NOAH the big matchup there in Japan Styles back in
00:17:14action here in WWE we'll make no mistake about it AJ Styles always keeps his
00:17:19skill set razor-sharp whether it be here in WWE or somewhere else around the
00:17:23globe my point is AJ was able to take a step back from the madness of WWE to
00:17:28recalibrate himself to find himself to let his body heal a little bit after
00:17:3320-plus years in the room you're gonna have some nagging injuries no matter how
00:17:36good you and now he's in the ring with one of the bright young superstars in
00:17:40WWE today you may not like his attitude
00:17:45Styles dropped right in front of the United States champion Carmelo Hayes in
00:17:51control as our matchup continues and we are back live on Friday Night Smackdown
00:17:58now you notice a half crab in here for Carmelo Hayes on AJ Styles there is a
00:18:02reason that Carmelo Hayes is now focused on the leg of AJ Styles during
00:18:07the matchup before the break AJ got hurt the doctor checked on him during the
00:18:11commercial break checking his left leg and ankle now as the doc went back to
00:18:15the ringside area he told Corey and I that it's a possible sprained ankle for
00:18:20AJ Styles in his return tonight so Carmelo Hayes focused his offense now on
00:18:24the leg and this is just terrible happenstance for AJ Styles just a few
00:18:28minutes before this matchup began you can see how much offense AJ took to
00:18:32Carmelo calling him a quitter Styles would rather drop dead in the ring than
00:18:36quit in the middle of a match ever again and Styles now having trouble of course
00:18:40bouncing on that leg but still able to deliver offense on Carmelo Hayes AJ
00:18:45Styles who looks to reforge his legacy on Friday Night Smackdown Carmelo Hayes
00:18:50looks to create his own legacy but AJ is in a bad bad way on one good way on one
00:18:56good leg right now and Styles who once held the WWE Championship for 371 days
00:19:03back of the neck and again the bad and that's the worst part AJ at this point
00:19:09may be a danger to himself AJ went for a maneuver we have watched him perform
00:19:13hundreds if not thousands of times this back breaker the neck breaker whatever
00:19:17you want to call it and instead of AJ's leg holding up it buckled this could be
00:19:21catastrophic for the phenomenal and Charles Robinson now sending AJ to the
00:19:25corner and Styles is calling for a bell and it's unfortunate but this is what you got to do
00:19:34and the Doc is gonna head over the ring referee Charles Robinson saying that
00:19:38this matchup is over after the injury to Styles leg listen this is the
00:19:44unfortunate part of our business injuries do happen
00:19:48ring rust may have played a factor we talked about how AJ likes to keep his
00:19:52skill set razor-sharp at all times but a layoff is a layoff your body is going
00:19:57to react differently AJ obviously was not in the same shape that he believed
00:20:01that he was or at least AJ's brain and his body weren't on the same page this
00:20:06is where we're speculating we think the injury may have occurred AJ coming up
00:20:11yeah that could have been it right there and then this is where everything went
00:20:16south AJ unable to support his own weight to drive Hayes down across and
00:20:21now AJ Styles visibly up ladies and gentlemen AJ Styles is no longer able to
00:20:27compete therefore the winner of the match is Carmelo
00:20:34hey dropped him right on the top of his head
00:20:41well LA Knight certainly lifted morale here in Nashville but I don't know if
00:20:46that was necessary Carmelo Hayes went toe-to-toe with one of the all-time
00:20:51greats a wild turn of events put him in that's what this is all about anything
00:20:55can happen so I guess that means if LA Knight keeps his promise Carmelo Hayes
00:21:05is gonna earn himself a United States Championship opportunity one would
00:21:09assume that would be the case it's a terrible turn of events if you hate to
00:21:13see AJ Styles one of the all-time greats go down with an injury we'll keep you
00:21:16posted as those updates become available yeah we'll try to get some
00:21:19updates from the doctor as soon as we can but changing gears now to what
00:21:23happens 24 hours from now in Hotlanta it is bad blood is a very special start
00:21:28time on Peacock of 6 Eastern and 3 Pacific in the main event the return of
00:21:34Roman Reigns to a WWE ring in a match for the first time since WrestleMania
00:21:39when he teams up with his once arch rival Cody Rhodes against the bloodline
00:21:50Sola Sokoa has made the challenge for a tag team match of bad blood Sola Sokoa
00:21:56and Jacob Fatu versus Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns

01:06:42but Corey Montez Ford Angelo Dawkins have not held gold since 2021 but I'll tell you what else
01:06:49is different about Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins that being the presence of B-Fab since B-Fab came
01:06:56into the fold slowly but surely the Street Profits have become focused they've got begun
01:07:01training harder than before Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins are a completely different dare I say even
01:07:07better tag team than when they were champions in the past and again no pinfalls submissions
01:07:13disqualifications or count out you have to set up the ladder climb the ladder grab the tag team
01:07:18titles to win the gold who's got the edge in this match Corey you know it's hard to bet against
01:07:25the champions Tama Tonga Tonga Loa seven-time IWGP tag team champions in Japan wasting absolutely no
01:07:32time making their mark here in WWE's tag team division you can never bet against the reigning
01:07:37champions but Cole I'm honest with you when I say I got a feeling about the Street Profits
01:07:42yeah I may agree with you on that point but again the Bloodline Brothers
01:07:48this matchup is now underway no tags in this match it's a free-for-all all six men in the
01:07:55ring same time or around it at least and the profits of DIY staring up at the tag titles
01:08:03looking to fulfill their destinies here tonight on Friday Night SmackDown
01:08:09wow knee from Chapa to Tonga Loa board up over the top and just
01:08:15kicked Tama Tonga right between the eyes and Gargano now with a kick to
01:08:19Loa again keeping the bloodline it looks like that's nearly scrapped
01:08:25Dawkins running right through sign them up who's gonna win the tag team gold
01:08:35triple threat ladder match for the WWE tag team title Street Profits DIY climbing the ladder
01:08:41trying to grab the gold they tried to take the bloodline out of this matchup but back into the
01:08:45ring Tama Tonga Tonga Loa now all six men as they battle for the tag team gold both DIY and
01:08:52the Street Profits taking their time climbing the ladders because they were both looking down making
01:08:57sure that the champions were neutralized at least for the moment but Tama Tonga Tonga Loa backup
01:09:02and factoring in yet again and now the bloodline down goes DIY and the Street Profits Montez Ford
01:09:09and Dawkins come off the ladder before it's knocked over the strategy early on for the profits of DIY
01:09:14Corey was to take out the champs make it a two-team match bang but it's a brilliant strategy
01:09:21in theory an execution maybe not so much Montez Ford now flexing his outrageous athleticism
01:09:29look at him forcing to do it flying up the ladder but down he goes wow that would have been
01:09:34spectacular leaping over the ladder is Ford and that would this time take it out the bloodline
01:09:42using the ladders as a weapon situation like that is right up Tama Tonga's alley as well as
01:09:48Tonga Loa yeah very vicious very physical tag team Tonga Loa this is all substance not about style
01:10:00Tama Tonga now looking to deposit Champa's face into the ladder guerrilla warfare in the ring
01:10:07and Tonga just bludgeoning Angelo Dawkins now we're going to use the weapon again the ladder
01:10:17into the ladder a tongue up over the top
01:10:24surprising athleticism from the right hand man Tama Tonga the infamous Tonga Loa on the left of

01:10:50the street prophet you basically had to strategize ahead of the time it's almost a foregone conclusion
01:10:55that you're going to battle more than two members of the bloodline no matter which two you're
01:10:59technically scheduled to face well and you saw in the early going the prophets and DIY almost
01:11:03teaming up for a bit in the early part of this ladder match to take out the bloodline they
01:11:07realize the danger they realize what's at stake all the teams in this match have held tag team
01:11:14gold they understand the importance of it Champa again wrecked by a ladder whoa Kenny May Dawkins
01:11:25Dawkins launching himself over the top rope taking out the ladder of the bloodline
01:11:30at great cost to his own well-being and here comes Johnny Wrestling Gargano with a suicide dive
01:11:41Montez Ford gonna fly
01:11:46bodies everywhere
01:11:48take another look at this first Angelo Dawkins sacrificing his own body to take out
01:11:57the opposition in Montez Ford doing it with style Dawkins is like a flying bus
01:12:05over the top rope taking out a ladder and the bloodline

01:12:16the ECB fab on the outside trying to keep her men in line

01:13:12trying to intercept play defense here Gargano and Champa and Tama Tonga oh shatter machine good night
01:13:21double knees right to the heart of Tama Tonga can Gargano and Champa capitalize
01:13:28it could be their opportunity Gargano Champa looking for meat in the middle but Gargano was
01:13:35dragged out of the ring by Tonga Loa and just that quickly the powerhouse Tonga Loa changed
01:13:42the complexion of this triple threat ladder match
01:13:51and now the bloodline looked to regroup
01:13:57Gargano and Champa suffering the effects of the ladder attack
01:14:01the slower pace works for the bloodline
01:14:07trust me Tonga Loa can be explosive as anybody doesn't want to be there when the moment calls
01:14:13but right now ladder wrapped around his neck DIY with
01:14:21oh my god he wasn't decapitated made in the middle by DIY somebody climb a ladder Johnny
01:14:30this is your chance and Gargano realizing that trying to set the ladder up ring is pretty much
01:14:37empty except for Champa and Gargano on the far side of the ring you can see B-Fab in the panic
