00:00More than 10,000 foreign POGO operators in the Philippines have already downgraded their visas, according to the Bureau of Immigration,
00:08in accordance with the directive of President Ferdinand R. Marquez, Jr., that the deadline is October 15.
00:16BI Commissioner Joel Anthony Viado reminded those who have not yet downgraded and have not yet left the country
00:25that they may be deported or blacklisted as of December 31.
00:30Viado added that there is no longer an extension to the filing and those who have yet to leave the country will be allowed to leave the country.
00:38Under the visa of downgrading, the status of a foreigner or foreign national will be returned to the temporary visitor visa from its work visa
00:48and they will be allowed to remain in the Philippines for a period of 58 days for their papers to be approved.
