00:00On October 16, the much-anticipated film, Crosspoint, will be released.
00:07It was produced by a Filipino award-winning multimedia company in collaboration with a Japanese production company.
00:14It was produced by a Filipino actor, Carlo Aquino, and an Emmy-nominated Japanese actor, Takihiro Hira.
00:22We will be joined by the producer of this film, Ravien Bracero.
00:28We will also be joined by the producer and cast of the film, Shou Ikushima, and the cast of the film, Kei Kurosawa.
00:58He knows Takihiro Hira, who is also a member of the bankrupt company.
01:04That's why they have the same problem.
01:28I started as a dancer, yes.
01:30And then I produce, I'm a producer.
01:32Are you also the producer of this movie?
01:34There's so much talent here this morning.
01:36And you too?
01:38How about you, Kei?
01:40I play the role of Mayuko, his victim.
01:44I'm the daughter of one of the two main characters, and also one of the main motivations on why they're going to do what they're about to do in the film.
01:52So stay tuned.
01:54Oh, it's so exciting!
01:56Crosspoint was shot in Japan, and there are some scenes that were shot here in the Philippines.
02:02For Kei, how was the film shooting here in Japan?
02:06Actually, even though I'm based here in the Philippines, my first experience on set was in Japan.
02:12Of course, at first, I was really worried because I'm not that fluent in Japanese.
02:18And I didn't know what to expect going in.
02:22So I was very intimidated.
02:24But it turned out to be very fun.
02:26Everyone was really warm and welcome, especially the staff and the crew behind Crosspoint.
02:32It's international.
02:34And I got to experience being with people with different kinds of backgrounds and cultures.
02:40So I learned a lot.
02:42Is this your first time to be in an international film?
02:46Yes.
02:48My first one was an indie film, but it was shot in Japan.
02:52But it's in Tagalog.
02:54So it's a different experience.
02:56How about you, Sho?
02:58Shooting here in the Philippines.
03:00I mean, I had a lot of fun.
03:02I think, of course, we Japanese too have a great time on set.
03:06But you guys have a lot of enjoyment.
03:08A lot of people eating meals together like a family.
03:12And then getting on set, and everybody's professional.
03:14So I had a really good time here, too.
03:16All right. Nice to hear that.
03:18For us, Ralf, how did you choose the cast for this film?
03:22Oh.
03:24We based the script for Carlo Acquino.
03:28That's the original plan for Carlo Acquino.
03:32And then with Sho's help, we cast Takihiro Hira for this.
03:38So the two of them will be equal.
03:41And then also, for the casting, we cast both well-known Filipino actors and well-known Japanese actors.
03:50And how was working with them?
03:52Filipino and Japanese.
03:54It was a great experience.
03:56Learning new things while shooting in Japan.
04:00In the middle of winter.
04:02So it's a different experience.
04:04Wintertime.
04:06January.
04:08It gets negative.
04:10So it's different for us.
04:12I'm used to shooting here.
04:14So it's really cold.
04:16Sir, is it hard shooting in two different locations?
04:18How was the experience?
04:20Logistically, why?
04:22Logistically, yeah.
04:24Like I said, it's the middle of winter.
04:26So it's different for us.
04:28We're not ready for that.
04:30Even for the Filipino cast,
04:32when we got there,
04:34we were really nervous.
04:36Alright, what are the things
04:38that they should look out for
04:40for this movie?
04:42Maybe a glimpse?
04:44A hint?
04:46We have a lot of action.
04:48It's like an action thriller film
04:50with family-oriented characters.
04:52So great drama,
04:54Carl Aquino's acting,
04:56Takihiro Hira,
04:58and then we have great action scenes.
05:00So you can expect good things from that.
05:02How about you? What can we expect?
05:04We're going to reveal
05:06the reality of our fellow Filipinos
05:08in Japan as well as
05:10the importance of family
05:12in this movie. So stay tuned.
05:14And prepare to
05:16get nervous
05:18and prepare to cry as well.
05:20Very exciting.
05:22So for everyone, please invite
05:24our viewers to watch Crosspoint.
05:26And if you have any additional message?
05:30We're inviting everyone
05:32to watch Crosspoint on October 16.
05:34We will have our
05:36red carpet premiere tomorrow.
05:38And also,
05:40spread the word.
05:42It's something different.
05:44Our film will be different.
05:46Our story will be different.
05:48I hope you like it.
05:50Yes, we're looking forward to it. How about you?
05:52We put a lot of time
05:54and heart to this film.
05:56I really enjoy being in this film
05:58and also producing it.
