00:00Hello, good morning and it certainly was a cold and frosty morning.
00:05Different story across Scotland though, plenty of cloud here and plenty of showers feeding
00:09through into western areas, generally moving through across Scotland.
00:13Some of these heavy, turning as sleet and snow over the Scottish Highlands too and just
00:18a few feeding into western parts of Northern Ireland.
00:21Elsewhere though, plenty of bright autumnal sunshine after that cold start.
00:25It's generally going to be a cold day for all but with lighter winds across England
00:29and Wales it's not going to feel quite as cold as it did yesterday afternoon.
00:33But in the north in those blustery winds that is going to take the kick off of those temperatures.
00:39Heading into the evening we're still going to see plenty of these showers across the
00:43north, these banding together to give longer spells of rain at times and there will still
00:48be plenty of clear spells across much of England and Wales but with a bit more cloud around
00:52a slight strengthening in the breeze.
00:54It's not going to be turning quite as cold but looking at these temperatures it is still
00:58going to be another chilly night on offer.
01:01To start the weekend then, these showers will band together bringing longer spells of rain
01:06and it will slowly sink its way south into northern parts of England.
01:10So quite a damp afternoon on offer here and these will slowly merge into parts of Wales
01:15and parts of the Midlands, parts of Yorkshire too.
01:18Across the south and south east that's where it's going to stay driest for longest and
01:22you can see a slight increase in those temperatures too, so more towards average for the time
01:26of year.
01:27But elsewhere, another cold day on offer, once again in those brisk winds it is going
01:30to be feeling chilly.
01:33Now if you're not a fan of the cold weather, well it's only a brief spell of colder weather
01:38and we have got some milder air generally moving in its way from the west as we head
01:42into next week.
01:44So a brief spell and then turning milder but perhaps a little bit wetter.
01:48But for more information on that, subscribe to our YouTube channel and then you won't
01:52miss an update.
01:53Bye for now.
