00:00Hello, the movie is here. Today we're reviewing a movie from 2018 called Slenderman.
00:10A group of high school friends, Vren, Chloe, Katie and Halley, come to their male friends, Tom and Kyle, who have plans for the evening.
00:18Vren asks them what they're going to do, but the guys say it's a secret. A few seconds later, Halley says she has to go home.
00:26During the evening, Lizzie, Halley's younger sister, asks if she can go to sleep with the other girls, but Halley doesn't let her.
00:34After a few moments, Vren comes to her door and picks up Halley. Again, Lizzie tries her luck, but even Vren tells her she can't go.
00:43The girls meet at Katie's, where her father, Mr. Jensen, is unaware of the alcohol on the couch. While they hang out, the girls also drink.
00:51When they hear a strange sound, Katie tells them that it's just her father going for another beer. With that, she reveals her desire to leave, regretting her situation in life.
01:00Soon, their topic changes to boys, where they start flirting with Chloe because of Kyle.
01:05Anyway, Chloe continues to repeat that she's not interested in him, but they don't know the boy's secret plan.

01:18They search the internet for urban legends, reading information about Slenderman.
01:22Allegedly, Slenderman has hypnotic powers, and his influence is innocent youth that he takes with him.

01:32After that, they just ignore it, thinking it's nothing.
01:36But that night, Halley gets a nightmare from the videos, seeing herself in the dark forest that they saw.

01:45During their school trip, Halley asks the others if they also had nightmares, and Vren is the only one who says they did.

04:48Back at Vren's place, she brings Katie's laptop home and can't accept what they found.
04:53So, when EllieCat starts texting her, she answers like she did, telling EllieCat that Katie disappeared.
04:59However, EllieCat is not surprised.
05:01So, Vren asks if there is a way to get Katie back, to which EllieCat replies that it depends on what they are ready to give her for a return.

11:41Seeing that Lizzie is panicking because of the creation without a face, Halley returns home to take Lizzie's laptop.
11:47There, she sees that Lizzie is involved in the Slenderman case.
11:50There is even a video of her sacrificing her valuables, all at Vrenin's request.
11:54Angry, Halley quickly goes to Vrenin's house to face her, because of that.
11:58When she doesn't get an answer, she goes inside.
12:01Deeper in the house, she sees that Vrenin's room is full of Slenderman's pictures, and everything is connected to him.
12:06When she checks the laptop, she sees that Vrenin was looking for traces of Ellie Kett,
12:10someone called Alison Riley, a patient of a psychiatrist who disappeared unexplainedly.
12:14Suddenly, she notices Vrenin's open window, and finds her friend who is trying to jump.
12:20She persuades Vrenin to go back inside quickly, but she doesn't answer anymore.
12:24Just when Vrenin finally starts to fall, Halley pulls him back.
12:28Vrenin apologizes to Halley and complains about Lizzie, saying that she did it before Vrenin, not knowing how dangerous it is.
12:34Later, Vrenin realizes that the sacrifice of something they love is not enough, because Slenderman complains about them.
12:40Suddenly, Vrenin gets a video call that shows the inside of their house, slowly and painfully coming to their room.
12:47Halley rushes to lock the door, but Slenderman's shadow slowly enters the room.
12:52Before they could even react, the branches burst into the room through the window.
12:56She grabs Vrenin and pulls him outside.
12:59Halley again has a vision of herself in the forest, as in Slenderman's video.
