00:04Today, I feel honoured to take part for the eleventh time in this meeting with the Akshayan family.
00:20Ten years ago, I announced India's activist policy.
00:29In the last decade, this policy has given new energy, direction and momentum to the historical relations between India and Akshayan countries.
00:43While giving importance to Akshayan centrality, we launched Indo-Pacific Ocean Initiative in 2019.
00:54It complements Akshayan Outlook on Indo-Pacific.
01:01Last year, a maritime exercise was launched for regional security and stability.
01:12In the last ten years, our trade with Akshayan countries has doubled to more than $130 billion.
01:27Today, India has direct flight connectivity with seven Akshayan countries and will soon start flying directly with Brunei.
01:43We have opened a new airport in Timor-Leste.
01:49Singapore was the first country in the Akshayan region with which we established FinTech connectivity.
02:00This success is being repeated in other countries as well.
02:07People-centric approach is the basis of our development partnership.
02:16More than 300 Akshayan students have received scholarships at Nalanda University.
02:26A network of universities has been launched.
02:31In Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, Myanmar, Indonesia, we have worked for the protection of shared heritage and heritage.
02:46Covid is either a pandemic or a natural disaster.
02:52We have helped each other while taking on human responsibilities.
02:59Science and technology funds, digital funds, and green funds have been established for cooperation in various areas.
03:10India has contributed more than $30 million to this.
03:17As a result, today our cooperation has spread from underwaters to space.
03:26In other words, in the last decade, our partnership has spread in every way.
03:33And it is a matter of joy that in 2022, we gave it the status of Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.
03:46Friends, we are neighbors of each other.
03:50We are partners of Global South.
03:54And we are a region that is growing rapidly in the world.
04:00We are a peaceful country.
04:03We respect each other's national integrity and integrity.
04:09And we are committed to the bright future of our youth.
04:16I believe that the 21st century is the century of India and ASEAN countries.
04:29Today, when there is a situation of struggle and tension in many parts of the world,
04:37then India and ASEAN's friendship, understanding, dialogue, and cooperation are very important.
