00:00GENERAZIONE G is a project that was launched by Prenatal on the 60th anniversary, so it is 60 years old.
00:18It was a moment to get on the field with a social activism project.
00:23We decided to cover a role of social responsibility towards the whole country,
00:30because at the center of this project there is the issue of birth,
00:35so an attempt, a contribution, I would dare to say, to try to reverse the trend of birth,
00:42which we have been assisting for several years.
00:44Think that since 2008, in this part, we have lost more than 35% of newborns in Italy
00:50and even more than 60% if we take the million of newborns that were there in the 60s.
00:56We therefore thought of doing a project that was a platform, we called it GENERAZIONE G,
01:01because at the center of the problem is not that new children are not born, but for us it is that new parents are not born.
01:07And therefore, precisely on parents, on parenting, we decided to focus on all our activities.
01:16We have in fact launched a fundraising project that has involved all our clients,
01:22of all our teachers of the group, Toy Center, Bimbo Store, Prenatal, Faust Schwarz, here in Italy, of course,
01:28and thanks to the contributions of the clients, to many partners, including Kikko, Fatter, OK Baby, Mam, Clementoni,
01:36we have collected economic contributions that we have used to build a network of support.
01:45Experienced parents who helped Italian families in need or who wanted to have children,
01:53especially with a focus on those who were fragile or in difficulty and who required support to be able to accompany them on this path.
02:02The collection was very important, it exceeded our expectations.
02:06We have been talking about more than 800,000 euros since we launched the initiative, over a year.
02:13The value generated is all the value we have generated on Italian territory, in terms of welfare and proximity.
02:20We have supported more than 260 families, 264 to be exact, in 29 Italian cities and 14 regions.
02:29The efforts put in place have also been remarkable, because more than 50 experienced parents have been involved
02:36to build networks throughout the territory.
02:38A fact that I like to remember, perhaps the most important, is how 42 new children were born in this year's project.
02:4642 new children were born, so we feel a bit like parents of all these 42 children.
02:51First of all, there is a project to achieve a goal that we have set for ourselves during the summer,
02:57which is to reach 1 million euros of collection, in order to reach 500 families supported for the next year.
03:07In general, speaking of PRG Group, which is a group that contains the teachings of Prenatal Toy Center,
03:14we have a mission, a very important goal, which is to support and guide families,
03:19to accompany them in a very important phase, which is the birth of their children,
03:24or to accompany children of all ages to grow up, to train them, to support them,
03:30so that there is a better Italy from this point of view.
