00:00Let's get through some of Sunday's games now.
00:02We'll start with what I think is maybe
00:05the best game of the day, right?
00:06You've got the Washington Commanders
00:08playing great football now with Jaden Daniels
00:11and the Baltimore Ravens who have now won three in a row
00:14are now back in the mix.
00:16Of course, a lot of people are gonna build this
00:18as Lamar Jackson against Jaden Daniels.
00:21Here's Dan Quinn to tell you that's not how it works.
00:24They don't actually play on the field against each other.
00:26Thanks, coach.
00:27They're not playing against each other.
00:29Both of them are fantastic players
00:31and cause all sorts of problems for defensive coaches.
00:34But both of them would probably tell you
00:37they gotta control what they can, you know,
00:39and how well they can play and going to do that.
00:40So I respect the storyline for you,
00:44but at the end of it, man, like he's gotta absolutely,
00:48you know, do his thing and play in the position.
00:50And that's what's really cool for us to see
00:53the development at the position.
00:55Well, it is Lamar against Daniels.
00:59It sure is.
01:02You know, the kid wants to beat Lamar, who he looks up to.
01:06And I think Lamar is cold-blooded.
01:08I just think he wants dubs.
01:10I don't think he cares who he steps on.
01:14I really don't.
01:15Like, he just wants to win games.
01:17You hear him all the time.
01:18Stats mean nothing to him.
01:19Trophies, awards, accolades.
01:23He's like, we're here to win games, that's it.
01:26I don't care what you say about me,
01:27write about me, do about me, this, that, all the rest.
01:31All the social media, the media,
01:33the TV, the radio, talk shows.
01:36He just goes out and executes and tries to win games.
01:39And I think Daniels is getting a lot of quick fame,
01:44deservedly.
01:45And, you know, he's played five games in the NFL.
01:49So I think he's done terrific.
01:52And let's see if he can beat this guy.
01:54I think the Ravens are a better football team,
01:58all things being equal, than the Commanders.
02:00I think one team has a better record.
02:04And I think one team is actually better than they are.
02:07And that's the Ravens.
02:08I think with their running game,
02:09it's an added dimension, I think.
02:12And I don't deny that the Commanders can run the ball too,
02:14but I just think Henry's on a different level
02:16than all of them.
02:18Henry and Lamar, both in the top 10 in the NFL
02:21and rushing right now.
02:23So two players there, as we talk about stats for them.
02:27As of now, six and a half for the Ravens here on Sunday.
02:32This is a one o'clock East kick.
02:3451 and a half, a very healthy total.
02:37They're expecting a lot of points in this game.
02:40Okay, well, that, you know, for me, it's too many points.
02:44It's too many points against a good quarterback.
02:46So a guy that can backdoor you, a guy that can come back,
02:51a guy that, you know, he's down, he's gonna swing it.
02:54A guy that can obviously run it,
02:55a guy that can throw it deep.
02:58He connects with McLaren deep.
03:01I mean, he just continues to do it.
03:03So, and they can run it as well.
03:06They have all, like, I think yesterday we heard Kaplan
03:09tell us that Brian Robinson or whatever's injured.
03:13Is that about right?
03:14I think that was, you know.
03:15Yeah, but he's gonna play.
03:16He said, it sounds like he's gonna be in there again.
03:19I don't think it's gonna be a better game
03:20than six and a half.
03:21I really do.
03:22The Patriots, they will start number three
03:25overall draft pick Drake May on Sunday.
03:28Jacoby Brissett has handled the first five games
03:31of the season.
03:31Now it is time for May to get in there
03:34and start his NFL career.
03:35He is, Scotty, very excited.
03:38I think he'll go out there and just try to make some plays.
03:41I think the biggest thing I was telling some of those guys
03:44probably gonna be a little nerves at the beginning,
03:46but I think once we settle down,
03:49we got a chance to move the football
03:50and just have fun out there,
03:52back to having fun going out there.
03:53I think that's what this game is about.
03:54Don't make it too big or the spotlight too big.
03:57And let's go out there with those guys
03:58that we've been battling for three months
04:01since training camp.

04:03Go out there and try to make some plays.

04:12He's going up against a good team
04:14and he's never played in an NFL game.
04:18I mean, he played, what, a couple snaps.
04:20He played a few plays.
04:22It's just not enough of a work of art yet for me.
04:27These guys all start slow and struggle.
04:30I'm not feeling it.

04:33I think that he's really talented
04:36and I think he's really big and strong and fast.
04:38For a white boy, he's pretty fast.

04:42but the team is so awful around him.
04:47They have no talent.
04:48They literally are like a, I mean, what a mess they are.
04:53They are a mess.
04:54Mayo won't admit it.
04:56No one will admit it, but they're terrible.
04:58They can't score.
05:00They can't stop anybody.
05:02They don't run the ball.
05:04They can't throw the ball.
05:06They don't win.
05:08I mean, they are staring down the barrel
05:10of a four and a half in Vegas that you're on the under on,
05:13and that's exactly what you want to have happen
05:16is that kid to have a crappy day
05:18and for them to lose and keep losing
05:20so you can catch that ticket.
05:22I don't think he's beating the Texans.
05:25What a shame that they can't do any of those things anymore.

06:46Apparently, during the bye week, Scotty,
06:48Jalen Hurts and Nick Sirianni
06:51had like a little meeting of the minds,
06:53a little sit down, a little heart to heart
06:55to clear the air and be on the same page going forward.
07:01Jalen Hurts is very happy that they did that.
07:03Well, we're the true leaders of the team, you know,
07:06and I'm happy and fortunate that, you know,
07:09we were able to come together in harmony
07:11and have the same goal in mind
07:13and trying to get this thing right.
07:15I got a ton of confidence in him,
07:18a ton of confidence in what he brings
07:20and everything he's been able to accomplish
07:22and just continue to press on on that.
07:25You know, everybody goes through different moments.
07:27Everybody experiences adversity,
07:29but we've experienced different levels
07:31of adversity together.
07:32And we're excited for what's to come.

07:37Let me tell you, here's what's gonna happen.
07:41They got A.J. Brown and Devonta Smith back
07:43and they're gonna beat the crap out of the Browns.
07:46The Browns, this is the highest spread in the NFL this week.
07:49And it's one that you have to, I think, absorb
07:52because Cleveland's awful.
07:54I mean, they are awful.
07:55They have not had a 300 yard game.
07:58Their quarterback has not had over a 200 yard game.
08:02It's embarrassing.
08:04They're anemic.
08:05It is so unbelievable.
08:06They might as well trade for Joe Flacco and bring him back
08:09because at least they were good.
08:11They were a good football team.

08:13They were dangerous.
08:14And now they're flat out terrible.
08:16And when Brown is in the games, they average 35 points.
08:23When he's not, they average 17.
08:26When Brown and Smith are both playing
08:29and they've had a bye
08:31and they are desperate for a win
08:33or the coach is gonna get fired.
08:36I don't care what Hurd says about his kumbaya moment
08:39at Ralph's on the South side with his coach.
08:42I really don't.
08:43What I need to see if, you know, frankly, I'm a better
08:46is I need the egos to beat the snot out of the Browns
08:50by 16 or more.

08:53They gotta win by 16 to 20 points.

08:59that are blowouts, Houston and this one.

09:21that let's just face it, they suck.
09:23And you're catching it at a time
09:25when they are playing bad football.
09:27They can't do anything offensively.
09:29They're going on the road.

10:15and changing things and I don't see it that way.
10:19You know, I see it as a confidence and a faith
10:21that we're going to get things right.
10:22We got the right guys out there.
10:24It's a new offense.
10:25It's a tough offense.
10:25We're going to get it picked up
10:27and you know, no one is panicking or worried about that.
10:30And as long as we're moving forward and getting better,
10:32that's all you can ask.
10:34Yeah, I don't know how they're going to do that
10:36against that Denver defense.

10:38Like, they couldn't do it
10:40against the Steeler defense either,
10:42but he only played that first half in that game.
10:44So I think it's a big test for the Chargers.

11:10And those have been hitting at a pretty good clip,

11:21the last time, like, they played that Steeler defense,
11:25it was 20 to 10, right?
11:25So that was a 30.
11:28So I think this thing goes under as well.
11:30I kind of like Denver at home, to be honest with you.
11:32I'm riding that defense until proven otherwise.

11:45the Steelers are in Vegas this week against the Raiders.
11:48We always need Mike Tomlin's weekly words of wisdom
11:52heading into this week's game.
11:54But more than anything for us,
11:56it's about getting back to business
11:57and getting back to business is winning
12:00and putting together a plan that allows that to happen,
12:04dividing the labor,
12:05highlighting the skillsets of the people available to us.
12:08Certainly we got some people that are missing this week
12:11due to injury, but we don't waste a lot of time
12:13focused on that.
12:14To be quite honest with you,
12:15we focus on the readiness of those that are available
12:19and how we divide that labor up.

15:23And, you know, there's a lot of guys
15:26who can make plays for us.
15:28Look, I think this team has a shot
15:31against the Bengals to win this game
15:33with that pass rush of theirs.
15:35And this guy, I'm getting a little tired
15:38of hearing about how awful he is
15:40when he's got really good numbers.
15:42I mean, the guy is doing a great job.
15:44He really is.
15:46You can't tell me he's not worth 40 mil right now
15:49because there's guys making 60 mil that aren't doing it.

19:23They didn't do that, in my view.

19:26I think the Bears are flat out better than them.
19:29I think their defense is gonna give Lawrence
19:32a just absolute nightmare in London.
19:35I think they're gonna go after him.
19:37I think they're gonna pick him off.
19:39I won't be surprised if the Bears' defense
19:41scores a tutty off a pick.
19:44I like the Bears.

20:39I'm concerned I'd be more into a middle
20:42where Green Bay wins and Arizona covers the five and a hook.
