00:00Hello, there. Welcome to your latest Metovius forecast. Over the next few days, it does
00:05stay mixed. We'll see some spells of rain, some showers, but it will be on the warm side
00:09and there'll be some sunny spells too. Looking at the bigger picture, low pressure dominates
00:13to the northwest. Its weather front's continuing to bring some rain across central southern
00:19parts in particular, followed by showers and something slightly fresher towards the middle
00:23of the week before then high pressure tries to build in after that. For the rest of the
00:29afternoon, it's a mixed picture out there. England and Wales generally quite cloudy,
00:33particularly across parts of the Midlands over into Lincolnshire. Wales, southwest England,
00:38there could be some spells of drizzly rain at times. To the southeast of this, some brighter
00:43spells developing, some sunny spells here and sunny spells and scattered showers for
00:48Northern Ireland, Northern England and Scotland, but plenty of dry weather to come. Generally
00:52light winds, though still breezy across the far northwest of Scotland. In terms of temperatures
00:58On the warm side for the beginning of October, high teens to low 20s, 23 to 24 Celsius across
01:05southeast England. Into the evening time, this weather front just tries to move a little
01:09bit further south with some drizzly rain in places. Elsewhere, as we move into the early
01:14hours, it will be dry with clear spells, though the wind starts to pick up across the far
01:19north of Northern Ireland into northwest Scotland with further showers moving in here. Some
01:23of these could be heavy at times. Under any clear skies across central parts of the UK,
01:28we could see a few shallow mist and fog patches developing and temperatures once more generally
01:34staying in double figures, perhaps just dipping into single figures under the clearest spells
01:38further north and then a muggy night across southern counties of England and Wales, 15,
01:4316, possibly 17 Celsius taking us into Monday morning, but quite a grey start here with
01:48some patchy light rain and drizzle in places. Through the day on Monday, generally quite
01:54a bit of cloud developing across England and Wales. Outbreaks of rain becoming more
01:58heavy and more persistent as we move through into the afternoon and there could be a few
02:02glimmers of brightness every so often. A different picture for Northern Ireland, parts of Northern
02:07England into Scotland here, brighter skies, sunny spells, a scattering of showers, one
02:12or two of these could be on the heavy side and the divide in temperatures once again,
02:16generally the mid to high teens in the north and getting into the low 20s where we see
02:21any brightness across southern parts of England and Wales. Into the evening time, further
02:26spells of heavy rain pushing eastwards as this frontal system tries to move away, but
02:31showers starting to move in from the Atlantic as we move through into the early hours and
02:36temperatures turning a little fresher across the north and the west, getting close to single
02:40figures but that mild air holding on across the far southeast. So, a mixed picture over
02:46the next few days, signs of something warmer as we head towards the end of the new working
02:52week into next weekend. For more information on this you can follow us on our social media
02:56channels. See you again soon.
