00:00Hello, here's your latest weather update from the Met Office. We'll see rather mixed weather
00:03conditions across the UK this weekend. It's a case of sunshine and showers. Low pressures
00:08anchor towards the north-west of the UK, feeding showers in from the west and south-west. Fairly
00:12tightly packed isobars indicating fairly blustery conditions at times too. And then low pressure
00:16moves in from the south-west, heralding some rain for England and Wales Sunday night into
00:20Monday. Quite a few showers around as we go through this afternoon, certainly towards
00:24the north and west of the UK. Some heavy, even thundery ones in places. Fairly blustery
00:28winds too. The best of the sunshine towards the south and east, and here we'll see the
00:32best of the temperatures up to 22 or 23 Celsius. 23 there is 73 in Fahrenheit. Pretty close
00:38to where they should be for the time of year. As we head through the evening into the overnight
00:42period, those showers will continue pretty much nationwide for a time at least, but they'll
00:47become more focused towards the north and west of the UK as we go through the overnight
00:50period. Still a few heavy ones towards the north-west of Scotland. Towards the south
00:54and east, some drier spells developing, some clearer spells too. But wherever you are,
00:57it's a pretty warm night for the time of year. Temperatures holding up in the mid-teens.
01:0115 or 16 Celsius is low towards the south. 16 is 61 in Fahrenheit. As for Sunday, well,
01:07it's another day of sunshine and showers. The focus for the heaviest showers, the most
01:11widespread showers, towards the north and north-east, particularly across parts of Scotland.
01:15Still the chance of the odd thundery one here. Whereas towards the south and east, particularly
01:18southern and eastern parts of England, plenty of sunny spells. But notice rain gathering
01:22towards the south-west. That's set to move in across the UK as we go through Sunday night.
01:27Temperatures once again pretty much where they should be for the time of year. High
01:30teens to low 20s Celsius. But with lighter winds, particularly across England and Wales,
01:34feeling a little bit warmer out and about. That's pretty much it for me, but of course
01:38you can keep tuned to the Met Office forecast by following us on social media. I'll see
01:42you soon. Take care. Bye bye for now.
