00:00Hello, low pressure is sitting to the north west of the UK at the moment, bringing most parts of
00:04the UK fairly unsettled weather and with fairly tightly packed ice for bars as well it's fairly
00:08breezy. Although towards the south east of the UK things are set fair here, much quieter weather
00:13conditions and we've also got much hotter air in place as well. So looking at things in more
00:18detail for this afternoon, confirmation of fine weather towards the south east of the UK, plenty
00:22of sunshine here, cloudier elsewhere with some outbreaks of rain. That rain locally on the
00:27heavy side particularly across parts of Scotland and Northern Ireland, here we have a warning in
00:31force until nine o'clock this evening, could see one or two inches of rain in places coupled with
00:35some thunderstorms in places as well. Hot in the south east with highs of 30 celsius 86 fahrenheit
00:42and warm and humid generally across the UK. As we go through the evening into the overnight period,
00:47rain tends to become more confined towards the north of Scotland, some fairly heavy bursts in
00:52places still, elsewhere clear spells and showers and pretty warm overnight lows in the mid to upper
00:57teens. As we go into the start of the new working week or Monday we'll see a fairly brisk north to
01:03northwesterly wind starting to turn fresher from the west as well, a mixture of sunshine and showers
01:08with highs of 25 celsius in the south east. That's pretty much it for me but of course you can keep
01:13tuned to the Met Office forecast by following us on social media. I'll see you soon, take care, bye.
