00:00Well, starting with Liverpool and just on the Alisson situation, obviously we discussed a big loss for Liverpool.
00:07What's the latest you can tell us and how soon are fans going to be expecting him back on the pitch?
00:13Not in the immediate future. It looks like the Liverpool goalkeeper is going to be out for around six weeks with a hamstring injury,
00:23which is a blow for Liverpool because the backbone of the team has been magnificent so far this campaign.
00:31They've conceded two goals in their opening seven league games and that's been the real bedrock of Liverpool's early success.
00:43The likes of Luis Diaz and Mo Salah have applauded, but the defence has been absolutely immaculate for the most part.
00:53Liverpool just aren't losing a real top goalkeeper. They're losing a leader on the pitch, a leader in the dressing room
01:01and maybe someone who even puts a little bit of fear the wrong way.
01:09If you're going through on goal and you see Alisson looming upon you, you think,
01:13I'll have to think about this one a little bit more because he's a difficult goalkeeper to beat.
01:19Kareem Kelleher is an able deputy. We've seen it last season when Alisson was injured. He's a top keeper.
01:26He's probably a Premier League number one in his own right, but Liverpool have kept him around.
01:33Maybe he was kept around because he just wanted to go and play first-team football,
01:38but he's got another chance to stake a real claim and prove how good he is.
01:45And also on the injury list, Alexis McAllister. He's become a fan favourite at Liverpool.
01:51First, just a bit on his impact coming into this side. The fans are really taking to him well.
01:56When can they expect to see him back on the pitch as well?
02:00Hopefully it's not a serious one. He obviously came off a hard time for Crystal Palace,
02:06went away with Argentina and was assessed there and missed their opening game against Venezuela.
02:12I think he's a little bit of a touching goal to play as we speak against Bolivia.
02:17But as you say, he's a real fan favourite, someone who has quietly gone about the business this season,
02:23playing in that double pivot. Some fans want to see him play a little bit higher up,
02:29but he just exudes confidence and class on the ball.
02:33He always looks like he's got an extra second on the ball.
02:36For a player who's won the World Cup and the Copa America,
02:40there's no denying that he is one of the premium midfielders in England and potentially even the world.
02:48A player who's only going to get better.
02:53Arslant won't want to lose him, especially with Chelsea coming up.
02:58Maybe it's a little bit of a warning that his minutes need to be managed a little bit more.
03:02He has played a lot in the early part of this campaign.
03:06Maybe Arnaud Soto will have to look at that and think,
03:09maybe we need to take him off about half an hour to go in some games if we're leading comfortably.
03:14Or for other games, start on the bench and go from there.
