00:00Meanwhile, the 2024 Kamandag exercises kicks off where U.S. Marines and the Philippine
00:06Marine Corps will undergo 10 days of training as part of the annual exercises.
00:12More than 2,000 participants joined, including the Australian Defense Force, British Armed
00:17Forces, Japan Ground Self-Defense Force and the Republic of Korea Marine Corps.
00:22France, Thailand and Indonesia will serve as observers for the very first time.
00:27The Kamandag exercises is focused on disaster response and maintaining regional security
00:33in the Indo-Pacific region.
00:36Exercises will be conducted in Palawan, Central Luzon, Ilocos Norte, Batanes.
00:43This exercise basically focuses on our main objective which is to foster good relations,
00:54to enhance interoperability and of course to strengthen our ties with our partner nations.
