00:00The Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission has decided to arrest the so-called Big Boss of POGO.
00:09In addition, the POGO is also watching the closure of the remaining small POGO in the country.
00:16Luisa Erispe with the report.
00:20After the authorities arrested the so-called Big Boss of POGO,
00:24the Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission, or POGO,
00:31believes that there are four other countries that are higher up than him.
00:36That's why they are planning to arrest the other four countries.
00:42We have a list. We are currently monitoring them.
00:45We are just developing enough cases to apply for search warrants
00:50and mission orders for them to be arrested.
00:55In the next few days, maybe a week, we will be able to get all of them.
00:59According to Paok, these four countries are the Chinese and Malaysians and possibly in the Philippines.
01:06They are the financiers in the illegal operation of POGO.
01:11That's why it's still going on until now.
01:13Paok is already forming the complaint or the cases that will be filed against them.
01:18Our evidence against them is solid because we have been investigating them for a long time.
01:23I'm sure it's not just four. There are other people involved.
01:27But so far, we have investigated four of them.
01:30While the plan of arresting the high-ranking people behind the POGO operations is in progress,
01:35Paok is also monitoring the closure of the remaining small operations of POGO.
01:42The number of POGO immigrants in the country is from 50 to 100.
01:48While in the case of IGL or Internet Gaming Licenses,
01:52only more than 30 are operating and it's slowly closing.
01:58Even though it's already the end of December,
02:00President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. has already issued a decree
02:04to continue their operations to close the POGO operations.
02:08Meanwhile, the Bureau of Immigration has issued a decree
02:13to foreign nationals who are working in POGO to downgrade their 9G visa.
02:19If their papers are not arranged, they will be directly deported to the B.I.
02:24The legal people who are leaving the country will not be blacklisted.
02:30As I said earlier, the people who are stubborn and do not follow the policies of our government
02:37will be deported and blacklisted.
02:40When it's time for them to downgrade their visas,
02:43they will be given 59 days to hold a temporary tourist visa
02:48to arrange their departure from the country.
02:51According to the B.I.,
02:5250% of foreign nationals working in POGO have already left the country
02:59and downgraded their visas.
