00:00The Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission, or PAOC,
00:04is already in the process of planning to arrest four other persons who are also considered to be the big boss of POGO.
00:10Meanwhile, the PAOC is also monitoring the closure of the remaining small operation of alleged illegal activity.
00:17This is what Luisa Errizte reported.
00:21After the authorities arrested the so-called big boss of POGO,
00:25Liudong, also known as Boss Boga,
00:28the Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission, or PAOC,
00:32believes that there are four other persons who are higher up than him.
00:37That is why they are already planning to arrest the four other persons.
00:43We have a lead. We are currently monitoring them.
00:46We are just developing enough cases to apply for search warrants
00:53and mission orders so that we can arrest them.
00:56In the next few days, maybe a week, we will be able to catch all of them.
01:00According to the PAOC, the four persons are Chinese and Malaysian,
01:05and possibly from the Philippines.
01:07They are the financiers of the illegal operation of POGO.
01:12That is why this is still ongoing until now.
01:14The PAOC is already forming the complaint or the cases that will be filed against them.
01:19We have solid evidence against them because we have been investigating them for a long time.
01:24I'm sure it's not just four of them. There are other people with them.
01:28But so far, we have investigated four of them.
01:30While the plan of arresting the high-ranking people behind the POGO operations is in progress,
01:36the PAOC is also monitoring the closure of the remaining small operations of POGO.
01:43The illegal POGO agents in the country,
01:45there are 50 to 100 who are monitoring them.
01:49While in the IGL or Internet Gaming Licensees,
01:53there are only more than 30 who are operating,
01:56and it is slowly closing down.
01:58Even though it is already the end of December,
02:01when President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. gave the order,
02:04their operation is still ongoing to close down the POGO.
02:09Meanwhile, the Bureau of Immigration,
02:11until today, only gave the order
02:14for foreign nationals who are working in POGO
02:18to downgrade their 9G visa.
02:21If their papers are not arranged,
02:23they will be directly deported to the B.I.
02:25The legal ones who are leaving the country will not be blacklisted.
02:30Those who will be left behind,
02:32like what I said earlier,
02:33those who are stubborn and do not obey the policies of our government,
02:38they will be deported and blacklisted.
02:42When it comes to downgrading their visas,
02:45they will be given 59 days to obtain a temporary tourist visa
02:49to arrange their departure from the country.
02:52In the B.I. case,
02:5350% of foreign nationals who are working in POGO
02:58are those who left the country and downgraded their visas.
