00:00With a lot of car brands paying more attention to their EV lineup, we are bound to get some
00:09of the most impressive electric vehicles in the next few years.
00:13If you're looking forward to those as much as we are, well, here are the 10 best European
00:18made EVs coming in next that you may want to add to your watch list.
00:22Alright, let's get straight to it!
00:25The Mercedes EQE SUV
00:29The AMG variant of the 2024 EQE SUV is, of course, performance-driven, and here is what
00:36we know so far.
00:37As is characteristic with Mercedes vehicles, what you get in terms of specs is heavily
00:42dependent on the specific variant you select and the add-on features that you select.
00:47There are a couple of options to choose from with the AMG EQE SUV, which will be available
00:52in 2024.
00:53But, as always, if you are out for the absolute best performance, you can get the AMG Dynamic
00:58Plus package.
01:00Combining this package with the EV's Race Start feature, you will be getting a whopping
01:05677 horsepower that can take the EQE from 0-60mph in just 3.4 seconds.
01:12It does not get all the bragging rights for range, though, but it compensates with a great
01:17performance.
01:18That's why you get a 90.8kWh battery pack that should last you 230 miles of driving.
01:24Do you think it's a fair exchange?
01:27Volvo EX90
01:30Volvo is another brand that is really making solid efforts to get its EV game at the forefront
01:35of its fares.
01:36The 2024 EX90 is evidence of this fact.
01:39The EX90 is an all-new fully electric flagship SUV that will be leading the Volvo lineup
01:45in 2024 over its gas-powered counterparts.
01:49The EX90 is most likely sharing the same components under the hood as the Polestar 3.
01:54However, it does not produce as much power on paper.
01:58As standard, you get 402 horsepower from the EX90, while the performance option gets you
02:03496 horsepower.
02:04With the larger 111kWh battery pack that the Volvo X90 will have, you'll be able to drive
02:10300 miles on a single charge.
02:13One interesting feature coming with this SUV is its bi-directional charging option.
02:18This lets you use your car's excess battery to power other appliances in case of necessity,
02:22whatever that could involve.
02:24Like the Polestar, this will also start selling at around $80,000.
02:30Porsche Macan EV
02:33Everybody is getting into the EV SUV race, and Porsche does not intend to miss out.
02:38For its all-electric SUV debut, the German carmaker is releasing an EV version of its
02:43most popular model over the last couple years.
02:46Specs are still very much unconfirmed by the brand, but we do expect to know a lot more
02:50by 2023 and as the vehicle draws closer to its release.
02:54Nonetheless, the brand has already come out to make claims that there will surely be a
02:58massive range gap between the sedan Taycan and the forthcoming Macan SUV.
03:04The Taycan is rated for 227 miles on a single charge, so double maybe?
03:10We will have to wait and see how that plays out.
03:13With that being said, we do expect everything about the EV Macan to be very on-brand with
03:18Porsche's style, performance, and most certainly price tag.
03:23Audi Q8 e-tron
03:25With a design upgrade, Audi is revamping the e-tron line and calling it the Q8 e-tron.
03:31It's safe to say that range is the most important part of this EV, and Audi takes it very seriously
03:36on the Q8 e-tron.
03:38The battery pack here is a whopping 106 kWh battery that should last you an estimated
03:43373 miles on a full charge.
03:46Performance expectations have been set pretty high as well for the Q8 e-tron, and the brand
03:50is out to impress.
03:52Something about Audis just feels like they will be beastly, and this one does not fall
03:56short with its estimated 355 horsepower and 414 lb-ft of torque.
04:02If, for whatever reason, you want it to punch harder, then you can switch to sport mode
04:06for 402 horsepower and 490 lb-ft of torque.
04:10As you would expect, the estimated price for this SUV does not come cheap.
04:15The Q8 e-tron will start at around $72,000 and should be in showrooms as early as mid-2023.
04:23Cupra Taviscan
04:25The Taviscan made its debut merely as a concept car in 2019 at the Geneva Motor Show.
04:31However, the Spanish carmaker confirmed that the Taviscan will finally be hitting the market
04:35for sale in 2024.
04:38Compared to the very bold concept design that was unveiled in 2019, the production unit
04:43of the Taviscan is a little toned down.
04:45Either way, what the brand has done with this design is worthy of praise, and we are looking
04:50forward to its mass release.
04:52We are yet to get any confirmed information about the numbers on the Taviscan, but Cupra
04:56hopes to penetrate the global EV market with this subcompact hatchback.
05:02The brand has made a pretty boastful sales claim of 500,000 units annually by 2025.
05:08The Cupra brand is set up to be a performance-centered brand, so expectations are high for what the
05:13Taviscan will pack.
05:15Price?
05:16Unfortunately, we will only find out the price closer to the spring of 2024.
05:21Polestar 3
05:23The 2024 Polestar 3 is the company's first SUV entry into the EV league.
05:29Previous Polestars have been sedan and SUV-like cars that confused drivers for a bit.
05:35Well, for the Polestar 3, we are getting an SUV, and it is worth mentioning that this
05:39design looks stunning.
05:41It also gets an interesting lineup of specs.
05:44There are two options to select from.
05:47The dual electric motors on the base model produce about 489hp, and you can raise the
05:52performance bar even higher with the performance variant, which gets you about 517hp.
05:57The range is great as well.
05:59At 300 miles for the standard variant and a trade-off for more power on the performance
06:03variant gives you 270 miles of range from the 107kWh battery that is on all the trims.
06:09The estimated selling price of this SUV is also decent, starting at about $85,000.
06:16Now if you like something similar to what Polestar offers, but prefer something from
06:20a more mainstream brand, you should check out the…
06:25Mercedes EQS SUV
06:28Still in the top of the line luxury section, we now also have some news that Mercedes is
06:33getting closer to fully launching the Mercedes EQS SUV.
06:37This EV holds on to the Mercedes design language for the most part, with a few other subtle
06:42details in the styling that are functional for aerodynamics.
06:46When the concept units were revealed in 2021, there were a ton of new additions to the cabin
06:51in terms of comfort and technology that should make it to the production unit.
06:55These would make the EQS a very strong part of the competition, dragging down the not-so-saturated
07:00market shares of other luxury electric SUV options.
07:04Mercedes EQS SUV is going to be for sale starting at $105,000 and go as high as they allow depending
07:12on a trim level selected.
07:15Maserati GranTurismo Fulgore
07:18The 2024 GranTurismo Fulgore will be an all-electric sports car, and we expect this one to all
07:24but fly.
07:26Maserati has stated that all of its electric vehicle offerings will carry the Fulgore moniker.
07:32The word means lightning in the Italian language, Fulgore.
07:36With that being said, this already says a lot about what the GranTurismo Fulgore will
07:41be able to pull off.
07:42Maserati has already stated that it is aiming to have the sports car hit 0-60 in a mind-warping
07:48three seconds.
07:50For this to be possible, the car may need at least three electric motors that can produce
07:54about 750 horsepower.
07:57As for the range of the GranTurismo Fulgore, it is estimated at around 230 miles per charge
08:02from its 83 kWh battery.
08:05The all-electric EV's estimated price is also set at a very Maserati-like $250,000.
08:12BMW i5
08:15Gradually expanding its all-electric offerings, BMW has started putting plans in motion to
08:21overhaul the current 5 Series by 2024.
08:24Among the new releases will be a fully electric version that is rumored to be the i5.
08:30With the launch and mainstream release still far off, BMW is keeping a lot of details about
08:35this car under wraps.
08:36Even what the car will look like is yet to be confirmed.
08:39There have been some spies' photographs of test units covered in camouflage wrapping.
08:44BMW has also not confirmed anything about the performance of this vehicle.
08:48However, going by the brand's history with EVs at this level, here is what we may be
08:53getting.
08:54Horsepower for the base-level i5 should be around 335 horsepower, but this could go as
08:59high as 500 to 540 horsepower in the more intense variants of the i5.
09:05The current i4 is powered by an 80.7 kWh battery pack that lasts as long as 367 miles.
09:12We expect things to be just about the same or even better with the 2024 BMW i5.
09:18There may be no price estimates until we get closer to the launch of the i5, so keep your
09:22eyes glued to this channel for the latest updates on this one.
09:27Rolls-Royce Spectre
09:30Rolls is also looking to roll with the other big boys in the EV game with its luxury entry.
09:36With Rolls-Royce, you already know what you get is the highest end of luxury known to
09:40the human mind.
09:42So if all the other EVs just don't fit your luxurious taste and you have about half a
09:46million dollars to throw at a vehicle, you will get what you want and need from the Rolls-Royce
09:51Spectre.
09:52The Spectre is fitted with two electric motors that produce a fantastic 577 horsepower.
09:58The battery pack is still to be confirmed, but the brand believes that the amazing vehicle
10:02should get you 260 miles of driving on a single charge.
10:06We can all agree that it's more than enough for any Rolls-Royce owner.
