00:00Supporting Team Asia are some of the key stars for the first day of the Inaugural Reyes Cup held at Ninoy Aquino Stadium.

00:13In the historic start of the Inaugural Reyes Cup held at Ninoy Aquino Stadium,
00:19some of the billiard stars gave support to Team Asia,
00:22where some of the country's best players, such as Yohan Chua, Carlo Beado, and billiard legend, Ekren Bata-Reyes, participated.
00:31I'm so excited because it's the first time Team Asia has a competition.
00:34Before, it was Europe vs. USA.
00:36Now, I'm so excited.
00:38Two of our boys, Yohan Chua and Carlo Beado, are part of Team Asia.
00:42So, it's really rooting.
00:44I know that I'll be exhausted after these four days of the Reyes Cup.
00:48The support of the Filipinos to our players is really a big thing.
00:54Cheska Centeno, the current World Ten Ball Champion,
00:57Jeffrey Ignacio in the Japan Open,
01:01and many more Filipinos who have really brought honor to the country.
01:05In the opening team match between Asia and Europe in the Race to Five event,
01:10Carlo Beado got the first rack of Team Asia and beat the leader in Game 4-0.
01:15However, Team Europe was able to catch up.
01:17It wasn't just a late-up game, but Team Asia got the first win, 5-4.
01:22In the Match 2 Doubles,
01:24Team Asia's Kofi Nghia and Alessio Siap were able to recover
01:28when they beat David Alcaide and Francisco Ruiz in the score of 5-2.
01:33Dong, Kok, Wang, and Eklen Kach were the ones who won in the Match 3 Singles event
01:38where the Vietnamese star won the match 5-3.
01:41In the second doubles event of the tournament,
01:44Carlo Beado and Johan Chua fought against Musconica veteran Jason Shaw and rookie Micky Kraus.
01:51The two Filipino Q Stars stole the lead 3-0,
01:55but Shaw got the golden break in the rack 4,
01:58and Team Europe continued to win 3-5.
02:01In the last match of the Match 5 Singles event,
02:04Yap and Shaw were able to catch up with the two veterans.
02:08But in the end,
02:09Yap was able to beat the score of 5-4.
02:12Because of this,
02:13Team Asia was able to win on Day 1 from 5 matches with a final score of 3-2.
02:19Later at 7.30pm,
02:21Campon Efren Reyes will fight again against Hanay Ni Carboys
02:27for the second day of the tournament that will take place in the Ninoy Aquino Stadium.
