00:00Well, starting with Liverpool and just on the Alisson situation, obviously we discussed
00:06a big loss for Liverpool. What's the latest you can tell us and how soon are fans going
00:12to be expecting him back on the pitch?
00:16Not in the immediate future. It looks like the Liverpool goalkeeper is going to be out
00:20for around six weeks with a housing injury, which is a blow for Liverpool because the
00:28backbone of the team has been magnificent so far this campaign. They conceded two goals
00:36in their opening seven league games. That's been the real bedrock of Liverpool's early
00:42success and all the likes of Luis Diaz and Mo Salah have applauded, but the defence has
00:50been absolutely immaculate for the most part. Liverpool just aren't losing a real top goal
00:58keeper. They're losing a leader on the pitch, a leader in the dressing room and maybe someone
01:04who even puts a little bit of fear in the wrong way. But if you're going through on
01:10goal and you see Alisson looming upon you, you think, I'll have to think about this one
01:16a little bit more because he's a difficult goalkeeper to beat. Kareem Kelleher is an
01:21able deputy. We've seen it last season when Alisson was injured. He's a top keeper. Kelleher
01:27is probably a Premier League number one in his own right, but Liverpool have kept him
01:31around and I think he was a little bit peeved that maybe he was kept around because he just
01:36wanted to go and play first team football. But he's got another chance to stay a real
01:42claim and prove how good he is.
01:46And also on the injury list, Alexis McAllister. He's sort of become a fan favourite at Liverpool.
01:51So firstly, just a bit on his impact coming into this side. The fans are really taking
01:56to him well. And when can they expect to see him back on the pitch as well?
02:01Yeah, well, hopefully it's not a serious one. He obviously came off a hard time at Crystal
02:06Palace, went away with Argentina and was assessed there, missed their opening game against Venezuela.
02:14I think he's a little bit of a touching goal to play as we speak against Bolivia. But as
02:18you say, he is a real fan's favourite. Someone who has quietly gone about the business this
02:23season, playing in that double pivot. Some fans want to see him play a little bit higher
02:28up, but he just exudes confidence and Arnold Slot won't want to lose him, especially with
02:35Chelsea coming up. But maybe it's a little bit of a warning that his minutes maybe need
02:40to be managed a little bit more because he has played a lot in the early part of this
02:44campaign and maybe Arnold Slot will have to look at that and think, well, maybe we need
02:49to take him off about half an hour to go in some games if we're leading comfortably or
02:53for other games, start on the bench and go from there.
