00:00The Department of Social Welfare and Development has promised assistance to the repatriated OFWs from Lebanon.
00:06According to DSWD Assistant Secretary Irene Dumlao,
00:09their social workers will talk to the OFWs that came to the country.
00:15This is to discuss what assistance can be given to them.
00:18If Dumlao promises, the OFWs will receive financial assistance
00:23under the Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situations.
00:27They can also receive financial assistance under the Sustainable Livelihood Program.
00:33Our social workers need to interview these repatriated overseas Filipino workers
00:40because assistance to individuals in crisis situations, particularly cash assistance,
00:45may be just one of the interventions.
00:49SAS mentioned earlier that they can also receive livelihood assistance
