00:0030 cases of hand, foot, and mouth disease were reported in a school in Batina, Davao City.
00:07According to the Davao City Health Office,
00:10those who tested positive for HFMD came from 16 grade school classrooms.
00:16Now, online classes are being held.
00:20Health officials are warning parents to bring their children immediately.
00:24Doctors are also being warned about symptoms of complications such as seizures and severe dehydration due to poor drinking water.
00:33There are also some symptoms of fever,
00:36sore throat, rashes on the palate and feet,
00:40small blisters on the tongue and gums,
00:42and loss of appetite.
00:45The CHO is advising the public to follow the minimum public health standard such as washing hands
00:52and to avoid going to crowded places so as not to get infected with the disease.
