00:15So this is my new favorite thing.
00:19Look at that.
00:20Friends, in this video, we're looking at the Insta360 Link,
00:24which is basically what you would get if you married a gimbal and a webcam.
00:29It's been my favorite thing to do calls with.
00:31And as you're seeing right now,
00:33I'm shooting my actual A-roll on this webcam because it can do 4K video.
00:38And it follows me around.
00:46But yeah, in this video, I'm gonna run you through what this thing can do
00:50and what my favorite features are.
00:52And pretty much at the end of it,
00:53we'll also see if this is good enough to shoot your videos with
00:56because we're testing as we go.
00:58Like I said, we're shooting with this webcam.
01:00So what you're probably seeing at home right now is the end product.
01:04We multitask, people.
01:06Anyway, yeah.
01:07Let's take a closer look at this camera.
01:09Now, isn't this a trip?
01:10So let's take a closer look at this camera.
01:13Let me get this off.
01:14This is the whole camera.
01:17So basically, we have the camera in front here
01:20and you have the gimbal thing.
01:22And this moves up and down and side to side.
01:25So then there's this indicator light that changes colors or blinks
01:30whenever you give it commands.
01:31That's personally, I feel like it's very convenient
01:34because you at least know that the camera is recognizing
01:37what command you're giving it.
01:38And so for example, if I do this,
01:40that turns on or off the follow option.
01:43So right now, even if I move the camera,
01:46the camera follows my face because there's AI tracking.
01:49If I do this, it turns off.
01:51So as you can see, that light changes.
01:53You just tap here and it follows.
01:55And then on the back, you have a USB-C plug that powers it.
01:58So this cord goes into your computer.
02:01Underneath, there's a screw for tripod stuff like this.
02:04And you can basically clip this onto your computer with this.
02:10And you see how I just tapped that and it just like went straight on.
02:14But yeah, anyway, point is, it's such a tiny little thing.
02:18But I mean, make no mistake, it is tiny but it does a lot.
02:25So would you believe that this tiny thing has a half-inch sensor?
02:31I mean, that's pretty cool, right?
02:33It can shoot 4K.
02:34It's a little gimbal.
02:35And this even has dual noise-canceling mics built in.
02:38Now, what I showed you earlier, this little stand does not come with a box.
02:42This selfie thing is a separate accessory.
02:44But everything you need to plug in this little camera to your laptop comes with it.
02:48And your setup is easy.
02:49I basically just plugged it in and downloaded that app.
02:52So the Insta360 Flow uses AI tracking.
02:54And I mean, you saw me do that earlier.
02:56So what's pretty cool is that there are gestures to control this camera.
02:59So that means that even if I am far away from the camera, I can tell it what to do.
03:04So for example, if you do your palm up, that means you're turning on or off the AI tracking.
03:10So right now, it's not tracking me.
03:12As you can see, I can exit frame freely.
03:16But if I do it again, it turns on the tracking.
03:20And as long as it sees where my face is, it basically follows me around.
03:28Then another cool trick that I love doing is when you give it an L.
03:40That's how you zoom in.
03:42With tracking.
03:45And then if you do that L again, wait for the light to blink, bring it down.
03:53You zoom out.
03:54So you can imagine how cool this is if I am supposed to be showing something to people
04:00on a call.
04:00Or if I'm just like wanting to shoot a role where I don't want to be bothered with different
04:05camera angles.
04:06I just need to do the gestures.
04:12And the Insta360 Link does all the camera work for me.
04:16I love.
04:17Let's test out that facial tracking as well.
04:20So if I cover my face, it sort of still recognizes where I am.
04:28I don't know how this...
04:29I mean, if I completely cover my face though, wait.
04:34Oh, that's cool.
04:35So the light covered my face, but like it found me again.
04:41Oh wait, there, I lost it.
04:50I escaped it.
04:51But once I get in the frame and it finds my face again, we're back.
04:56So I can be like, good day, you beautiful people.
05:01And then change to...
05:08Welcome to my studio.
05:09I now have a whole clip that moves stuff around without you having to tinker with the camera.

05:25So of course, this camera is connected via the Insta360 Link controller app.
05:30And that's what you're seeing right now.
05:32At the bottom here, you have your preview toggle on or off.
05:36And by the way, when you're not using this camera, it does sort of sleep.
05:41So the camera like goes down like that.
05:43That's just a really cool privacy feature that they put in.
05:46You have your different resolutions here.
05:48Again, this thing can do 4K.
05:51So here you have your different modes.
05:53At the bottom, you have your tracking, which is what we've been doing.
05:58One of my favorite features with this webcam.
06:00And then you have the whiteboard mode, which is pretty cool.
06:03Because basically, this is for when you're standing in front of a whiteboard.
06:08You're, let's say, lecturing.
06:09The camera can actually like recognize that whiteboard.
06:13And it can enhance whatever is on that whiteboard.
06:15So yeah, as you can see, it says fail to enter whiteboard mode.
06:19Because we have no whiteboard.
06:21And it's getting confused because I turned it on.
06:24So let's not turn it on.
06:25If I turn on the overhead mode, it looks down.
06:29Because this is basically a mode that allows you to do an overhead shot.
06:33But you have to get a specific mount that lets you angle the camera a certain way.
06:39We also do have a desk view mode, which is better suited, I think, for my setup right now.
06:45As you can see, it did like look down a little bit.
06:48So for example, I wanna like show you what's happening on my desk.
06:52It would be perfect to use this gimbal.
06:55You don't have to move any more cameras.
06:57You have a perfect view.
06:59Here you have your screenshot.
07:01You have your record.
07:02And then you have your gimbal controls here.
07:04You can put in preset positions as well.
07:07So that's a great thing, especially if you've already fixed up your area.
07:12And you don't wanna keep on moving your camera.
07:14Preset position is a lifesaver.
07:16You have your image settings.
07:17So you can also tweak this.
07:19And you can also use these as presets.
07:22Just a nice little thing that helps people who shoot to make their work more efficient.
07:26And then under more settings, you have your gestures.
07:30So palm auto tracking is basically when you do this.
07:33And as you can see, it did recognize it.
07:36Right now, it's auto tracking me.
07:42That means we've turned it off and it doesn't track me.
07:46You have zoom.
07:47So I've been doing this for the whole video.
07:50Zoom in is like do the L but like move it upwards.
07:54Zoom out is do the L but like bring it down.
07:58You also have the whiteboard mode and you just need to do a P sign.
08:02But like I mentioned earlier, we do not have a whiteboard.
08:04So we're not gonna be doing that.
08:05And then you have stuff like your tracking feed.
08:08You have AI zoom options, autofocus.
08:12And then this is pretty interesting.
08:14You have streamer mode.
08:15If I wanna stream on Twitch or add other platforms, you can use this.
08:19And it does have a 9x16 orientation.
08:22But it says here that 50 or 60 fps must be activated from the software.
08:27So let me show you how useful this is.
08:30Because not only can you use it as a webcam or an aero camera
08:35or an overhead camera, you can even use this to shoot vertical videos
08:39which is a great thing especially if you're streaming like for example
08:43on Instagram or for example on TikTok.
08:46Or even if you're shooting like vertical videos for mobile,
08:50this is the way to go.
08:52And that, friends, was our look at the Insta360 Link.
08:59Obviously not your typical webcam.
09:01I personally love it.
09:02I love all the stuff it can do.
09:04At the end of the day, this is not just a tool that you'll be using for calls.
09:08It's something that's very versatile that you can even use
09:10for shooting your content.
09:12Especially if you're like me who shoots a lot of her stuff alone.
