00:00The new MaceFit GTS3.
00:02🎶
00:08Good day, you beautiful people. Welcome to Issa Does Tech, where we do tech in your life, in style.
00:13Yes, folks, it's time for another wearable video.
00:15And you guys know that I personally scope out good-looking watches
00:20because these things have function, but I also want fashion.
00:23So does the MaceFit GTS3 reach those expectations of fashion and function?
00:28In this video, we'll go through the whole unboxing experience,
00:31we'll see just what features this watch has,
00:34and we're even gonna do an exercise test.
00:37Let's start.
00:39The new MaceFit GTS3.
00:42This is one of the new MaceFit watches powered by ZEPP OF.
00:45Advanced bias sensor, all-around health tracking,
00:48150 sports mode, and it's slim and lightweight.
00:51Okay, so I got the Terra Rosa color, and I'm hoping that's the cute one.
00:55Let's open this up.
00:57Nice.
01:03That looks like a gold-brown top terracotta color.
01:08I like it.
01:11Alright, let's check out what else is in the box first.
01:16We have a charging port, and then we have a tiny little manual.
01:22Up your game.
01:23This is a good-looking watch, and it's actually quite light.
01:28The straps look good, but they're actually silicone.
01:32A MaceFit branding on the bottom there.
01:34Oh, I like that.
01:35So basically, it gives you that more polished, non-sporty look,
01:40but it's still silicone, so that means that you can wear this strap a lot
01:44without it getting dirty.
01:45It also looks like the straps are replaceable.
01:48Yes, that is a point.
01:49Hardware on this almost looks like it's rose gold.
01:53I like how this looks.
01:54You have this rotating button on the side.
01:58At the back, your sensors.
02:00Yeah, I am surprised at how light this is.
02:03Let me turn this on, but first, a quick montage.
02:23I love how this watch looks.
02:37That color is very classy, and it looks so good with jewelry.
02:43It's something that you can wear for exercise,
02:45but it'll also look good on your wrist on a night out.
02:48Now, some may say that this looks like the Apple Watch,
02:52and looks-wise, because of the shape, the similarities are uncanny,
02:56but it does feel different on your wrist.
02:58It also means it's very comfortable to wear even at night as you sleep.
03:03That is an AMOLED screen on the GTS3,
03:06and can I just say that I love the many different watch faces?
03:10I'm not even kidding.
03:12I love them all.
03:13That rectangular screen gives you a lot of space to navigate,
03:16and the screen is pretty responsive.
03:19Right now, it's connected to the Samsung Z Flip,
03:21but you can connect it to iPhone as well via the ZEPP app.
03:25Also, what's really cool about this is there's an offline voice assistant.
03:29Imagine being out and about, but not being connected.
03:32You're doing stuff, you have your hands full,
03:35so if you want to do something with your watch,
03:37again, even without the internet, you can just tell it.
03:41Open timer.
03:46It's a pretty cool and very useful option, honestly.
03:51Right, let's take a quick watch tour.
03:54So swipe down, you have this quick menu which gives you stuff like...
04:01Yeah, that was a find my phone function.
04:04You also have automatic brightness, and this thing can be...
04:08Well, you can't really see because my camera adjusts,
04:11but it can go this bright.
04:14We were at like half the brightness earlier.
04:16You have your calendar, you have an option to keep your screen lit,
04:21you have a theater mode, there's also a night mode,
04:25and of course, a battery mode.
04:27Swiping to the right does give you a back option,
04:30and to go back to the screen, you swipe up.
04:33Swipe up and you get your phone notifications.
04:36Swipe to the right, it gives you different widgets,
04:40and swipe to the left gives you the same widgets.
04:43Pressing the dial gets you your workout and tracking stuff.
04:48So you have your PAI score, heart rate, blood oxygen.
04:52I love the one tap measuring option because, well,
04:55with one tap, you can just measure all the stats.
05:04This is quite literally the cheat button to measuring all your stats in one go.
05:09Then there's workout, and there are like a lot of different workouts.
05:14You can even tap more workouts and you have them classified.
05:17And then you have your workout history status, stress measurement,
05:21you have your activity measurements, which tells me I haven't been moving a lot.
05:25You have your sleep tracker, and ooh, look at all those details.
05:30You also have weather, music, you have your alarms, your calendars,
05:35water time calculator.
05:37These are apps that I downloaded from their app store,
05:41like their brush teeth app, which, well, times you brushing your teeth.
05:47Pretty cool.
05:47It also tells you sort of where to brush so you can brush properly.
05:51The thing that you never thought you needed, but you did.
05:54You have more here, and you have so many other things.
05:59And one thing I'm grateful for, menstrual tracking.
06:03There's also a breathing app here, which is great for meditation.
06:08You also have world clock.
06:10You have a to-do list, a pomodoro timer,
06:12and this is another app I downloaded from their app store.
06:15Now under settings, you have the option to change watch faces,
06:20of course, but there are more on the app as you'll see later.
06:23Vibration settings, workout settings,
06:26so you have an option to switch around your workout detection settings.
06:30You also have GPS settings.
06:32You have a power saving GPS mode, which is nice.
06:36Now on the app itself, and as you can see,
06:38I have it connected to my Samsung Galaxy Z Flip.
06:41Let me show you like what that app looks like.
06:46First off, it gives you your PAI rating,
06:49which is a score for your everyday movement and activity.
06:53So it helps you sort of quantify like your health.
06:56I know that's a more simplistic way of explaining that,
06:59but you get the idea.
07:01So it uses your athletic ability and physical data.
07:05And the whole point of it is to keep it up a certain number
07:08to improve your cardiorespiratory fitness and the health of your heart.
07:12I'm ready.
07:13So yeah, it gives you all details and how you get your PAI score here.
07:19Right now, I am very bad as you can see.
07:23You also have your sleep data, very detailed sleep data,
07:27which includes like a beta version of sleep breathing quality.
07:31You can even record your pre-sleep state.
07:35So watching phones, playing games, tidying the room, bath, had drinks.
07:39Oh my gosh, I feel attacked.
07:42But yeah, even your wake-up mood you can record.
07:44And this is one of the most detailed like trackers I've seen.
07:48It also shows you where you are compared to other users.
07:52You're of course also given a sleep score
07:54and you can look at your sleep with these charts via weeks, months, or even years.
08:00Back to the main menu, you also have your heart data.
08:04So this is my heart rate for the week, month, year.
08:09And down here, I am told that my resting heart rate is 55.
08:14I have my different heart rate zones.
08:17And I have results for every time I measure my heart rate manually.
08:22You also have your stress levels.
08:24Oh, I'm a little stressed today.
08:27You also have your blood oxygen level here.
08:30Now again, all of these, these are not to be done in lieu of actual medical professional help.
08:35But it helps because you can track your own stuff.
08:38And when something happens, you see something different around here.
08:42It sort of tells you to get checked or to get professional help.
08:46I also have weight and BMI details.
08:49Although this you input.
08:50And then my workout history, which is again not a lot.
08:55And then your tools for your phone.
08:58You can edit it and sort of switch it around.
09:00I have my steps.
09:02I have my calories burned.
09:04Oh my gosh, that's so bad.
09:05You also have your exercise status.
09:08And then you have your breathing quality,
09:11which is on beta but still really interesting to look at.
09:15And all of that, all of that, that's just on the homepage.
09:18We still have the health tab.
09:21So I walked seven days ago.
09:24What? That's sad.
09:25So you can set your target activity here.
09:29And you can also edit cards.
09:31Under profile, you get your Amazfit profile.
09:33And of course, I have Amazfit GTS2 connected.
09:38And you can access the app store here.
09:41So I told you I downloaded the Brush Teeth app.
09:44And then you have notifications and reminders.
09:47So this allows you to edit all the alerts you get on your watch from the phone.
09:53So I have them all turned off because I just, I don't want to be bothered.
09:56You have shortcut cards and this allows you to switch around
10:00what you immediately see when you swipe left or right on the watch.
10:04And then you have your app settings.
10:06There's a find your watch setting.
10:08Now an interesting thing is the health monitoring tab
10:10because it allows you to switch around settings.
10:13So for my heart rate, I have it to measure it every five minutes.
10:17And of course, you can switch around all these settings to help you track your data
10:22but also balance that between conserving your battery on your wearables.
10:27So you can also do sleep monitoring, heart rate monitoring, auto stress monitoring,
10:33and of course, your oxygen levels in your blood.
10:39You guys just saw how many activities the GTS3 tracks.
10:42So I decided to put it to the exercise test.
10:45First up are some squats and that counted as strength training on the watch.
10:50Now there are many different settings that you can choose before starting your workout
10:54and you can choose different activity goals.
10:57Now what I especially loved about the strength training option
11:01is that there is a choice for interval rests.
11:04And when you resume your workout, it counts a different set.
11:08As someone who loses count of her exercises a lot,
11:11this is just something that I found to be pretty useful.
11:14Now it does count reps as well,
11:16but I found that for activities like, for example, squats like I'm doing in the video,
11:22it isn't really the most accurate.
11:24Of course, exercises with more defined arm movements did better at the rep count.
11:29But this is normal.
11:30I have yet to try out a wearable that does reps 100% correct 100% of the time.
11:36I wanted to test out how accurate counting is on the jump rope,
11:40but I couldn't find my jump rope.
11:42So I did it without the rope.
11:44The watch did well with like one to five skips off each time,
11:48which I feel is normal performance for wearables.
11:52Again though, I wasn't doing this with the rope,
11:54so take it with a grain of salt.
11:57Amazfit claims 12 days of battery life on this
12:00and with all the notifications always on display
12:03and even health tracking things on,
12:05this thing lasted me around five days.
12:07Keep in mind that battery time on wearables usually vary
12:10depending on what is turned on in your watch.
12:13And I feel like five days is good time
12:15considering that it's a wearable that tracks a lot.
12:20And that was our look at the Amazfit GTS3.
12:22This wearable definitely surprised me in many ways.
12:25I like how it looks.
12:26It's super comfy to wear and to leave on.
12:28There are so many features
12:30and the exercise tracking definitely impressed me.
12:33I guess bottom line is the Amazfit GTS3
12:36does meet my expectation for fashion and function
12:39and at a more affordable price point.
12:41If you're looking for something
12:42that you can leave on your wrist 24x7,
12:44that will look good
12:46and will do most of the things that a smartwatch does,
12:48the Amazfit GTS3 is one to look at.
12:51All details I have on pricing and availability
12:53I'll leave in the description box below.
