00:00The House Quad Committee will continue its probe on the war on illegal drugs and alleged

00:04extrajudicial killings with the goal of unearthing the truth on issues that continue to hound

00:09the previous administration.

00:11Meanwhile, a government agency has already received important documents collated by the

00:16joint panel that could serve as evidence against illegal pogos in the country.

00:25Former President Rodrigo Duterte will not attend the hearing of the House Quad Committee

00:30tomorrow, October 22, based on the letters sent by his counsel, Attorney Martin Delgar

00:36III, to the joint panel.

00:38It says, aside from the short notice, the former chief executive is not feeling well

00:42and is in need of much rest.

00:45The lawyer assured his client is still willing to appear before the Quad Com on some other

00:49available date, preferably after November 1.

00:53Quad Committee lead chair Robert A. Barbers confirmed having received the letter sent

00:57by the Duterte camp, and tomorrow, the ninth public hearing of the House Quad Committee

01:02resumes with or without Duterte.

01:04The Senate, for its part, is also preparing a separate hearing regarding Duterte's war

01:09on illegal drugs.

01:10But Barbers suggested the House and the Senate can unite and probe it together.

01:15If they will agree, I think, para sa bayan, isang malaki, malawak, at comprehensibong

01:21investigation, lang sa ganun ay makagawa tayo ng mga panukanang batas na nararapan.

01:27The Quad Com was joined today by some officials from the Office of the Solicitor General in

01:31their press conference.

01:33During the event, the congressmen formally turned over crucial documents to the OSG regarding

01:38pogos which are allegedly evidence of fraudulent transactions and activities by some Chinese

01:44nationals in the country.

01:45The OSG assured to thoroughly review these documents.

01:49If the real estate is still in the name of this Chinese, we will file the necessary actions,

01:59escheat or reversion.

02:03Then, kung eto po, pag nasa pangalan na ito ng mga Filipino individuals, cured na po yan,

02:11pero subject po sa possible administrative or criminal actions sa mga involved.

02:20The Quad Com clarified their hearings on pogos are far from over, and the documents and recommendations

02:26they provided to the OSG are only preliminary.
