00:00Several places in Metro Manila were flooded,
00:02following the rainfalls of Hurricane Christine.
00:06Authorities are continuing to remind residents in high-risk areas to remain alert.
00:13This is the national news of Ephraim Gaitos of Radyo Pilipinas.
00:19Some parts of Metro Manila were not affected by Hurricane Christine
00:23and experienced flooding.
00:25In Quezon City, Barangay Rojas experienced heavy flooding early this morning,
00:31where rescue efforts were urgently needed,
00:35led by the Quezon City Urban Search and Rescue Team.
00:3828 families, or equivalent to 112 individuals, were rescued,
00:44most of whom were trapped in their homes.
00:46Currently, only two evacuation centers are remaining,
00:51with 114 families, or equivalent to more than 400 individuals,
00:56who were directly affected by flooding in Barangay Rojas, Quezon City.
01:00Several residents of Quezon City have also been rescued
01:03from various barangays that are considered flood-prone areas.
01:07Meanwhile, the length of Araneta Avenue in Quezon City was flooded.
01:14At 6 in the morning,
01:16the water level was estimated to be as high as the level of Araneta Avenue,
01:20where several vehicles were stuck due to the sudden flooding.
