00:00And the best game is a top-15 tilt in College Station. Kyle Field the setting
00:08for 14th ranked Texas A&M hosting number eight LSU. The Aggies who have been a
00:14favorite in all seven games this year lay in two and a half this weekend at
00:19home against the Bayou Bengals. DRS let's start with that spread in your
00:24estimation is the correct side favorite? I do think so because in college
00:29football unlike professional sports now we're always trying to gauge like what
00:32home field advantage actually means because yes it does matter not
00:35necessarily from a fan perspective but just being home in your environment your
00:39sight lines everything is comfortable there but in college football really
00:42ramps up like you're not playing at let's just say an institution that
00:45Saban would joke about Vanderbilt like hey we go everybody goes on the road
00:48against you to Vanderbilt's home field advantage for the road team that's not
00:51the case in Texas A&M is one of the best home field advantages in football so I
00:55do think that plays out and also this isn't one of those A&M teams that we
00:58maybe look back in the past like we don't know how good they are what
01:01they're doing in the SEC they're 4-0 in the SEC they've proven it here same
01:04thing with LSU at 3-0 let me answer this question too because I do think that
01:07spread is appropriate from where it is where Texas A&M is about a field goal
01:11favorite I was entering into the season saying okay everybody can get like one
01:15loss but two losses you're basically going to be out of it at that point I'm
01:18not getting that vibe here late in the season which I love so for me LSU Texas
01:23A&M I'm gonna ask you this question is this an eliminator game if one of them
01:26loses because quite frankly that means you only have one SEC loss they're not
01:30out of the playoff picture right and maybe even still be favorite to make a
01:33playoff spot correct ERS I do not believe this is an eliminator game one
01:38of the best things for LSU is how easy their schedule is this year as compared
01:43to many still Alabama on the docket A&M has Texas to end out the year in a
01:48renewal of the Lone Star showdown all of that is still remaining three losses it
01:54makes it difficult based on your strength of resume and these two teams
02:00right now have a couple of good wins A&M beat Missouri all right LSU of course
02:06beating Ole Miss in its own home stadium a couple of weekends ago night game in
02:11Death Valley so no not an eliminator game and it would be the first
02:16conference loss for both of these teams
