00:18A really good team,

00:22is what it felt like.
00:24Like, Tennessee was just so bad,
00:25especially in the second half that,
00:28some of those games you just feel like,
00:29all right, just, let's not mess this.
00:31Let's just let them keep messing it up, you know?

00:36But it's funny how completely different this feels

00:42where you thrashed them and dismantled the Cowboys, right?

00:51And then yesterday was just, okay, kind of ho-hum,
00:54like, okay, if they're just gonna keep messing it up,
00:56you know, we'll just keep taking advantage, you know?

01:02and golf under 90 yards, Montgomery under 40 yards,
01:05I'm gonna rock two catches, seven yards.
01:07And you look at that and you're like,

01:12So it was just one of those games that-
01:13And one of the punt returns-
01:14You did what you were supposed to do, right?
01:15One of the punt returns was on a defense stay.

01:36that Coach Campbell just has a way
01:38of not letting these guys fall into any sort of traps.

01:44And they said the right things last week,

01:46but look, this is really good defense, which I agreed with.
01:49I mean, it kind of, the way that game started,
01:51it kind of had that feel that,
01:52okay, maybe this might be a little harder
01:54than we thought it was gonna be.
01:5514-14 at one point, yeah.
01:57Yeah, and, you know, there were, I think,
01:59the three sacks in the first nine plays,
02:01you know, Tennessee had on us.
02:02Yeah, they're getting the golf.
02:03Yeah, it's like, okay, man, you know,
02:05got it, maybe not the best feeling,
02:08but his ability to get these guys just dialed in
02:11and not worry about records or, you know,
02:16hey, trap games or what we said yesterday,
02:18don't take the cheat, you know what I mean?
02:20Like, he doesn't, he gets his guys ready,
02:21and I think it's a testament to him,
02:23and it's gotta be a testament to the guys
02:25in that locker room as well,
02:26just being able to handle their business day in, day out,
02:29and yesterday, probably, I didn't expect,
02:34I don't think, that type of game,
02:35but when you have a team that's turned it over four times
02:37and can't tackle anybody on specialty,
02:40you know what I mean?
02:41It just, it turns into those type of games,
02:42so I thought it was a good win for them,
02:43but I also agree with Jared Goff to it
02:45that it still didn't feel like as crisp
02:48as maybe you were hoping,
02:50and I think part of that was, John,
02:54and I think you'd probably agree,
02:55the pass protection looked a little bit shaky
02:57at times yesterday, and I didn't like Jared Goff
03:01taking as many big hits as he did,
03:03so that's obviously, I think, the one area you look at
03:05and say, we can improve offensively,
03:07and then defensively, at times, they figured it out,
03:10but majority of that first half, it just seemed like,
03:14it couldn't, yeah, couldn't cover anybody,
03:17the rush wasn't matching up,
03:18and I think it was clearly evident,
03:21they need to go get a defensive end.
03:23None of those guys were doing anything
03:25with any sort of consistency,
03:27putting on any kind of pass rush.
03:30That was the one thing I think
03:31that stood out to me the most yesterday.
03:33The one sack the Lions did have
03:35was a busted assignment by Tennessee up front.
03:38Yeah, Angelone came clean.
03:39Yeah, came clean.
03:41You got two guys blocking one, and wait a second.
03:43And there were guys, I mean, I noticed
03:46individual rushes at times,
03:48like Al-Khadim Mohamed had a couple nice rushes
03:50that, man, if the coverage was a little bit tighter,
03:53he's probably getting home, probably getting a big hit,
03:55probably a sack.
03:56There were a couple of those.
03:57I don't wanna act like they didn't get pressure at all,
04:00but it's just, the rush and the coverage
04:03didn't look like it matched up early in that game,
04:05in the first half.
04:06It looked like Rudolph was just picking them apart,
04:07and it's like, what is going on?
04:09And they have one receiver.
