00:00What do you think about the relationship between abortion and psychosocial character?
00:04I think that the relationship is a very important cultural fact,
00:10because it reveals what some psychosocial characteristics try to hide or silence.
00:19There are two aspects that I will talk about.
00:22One is the fact that abortion in teenagers between 14 and 19
00:29reaches up to 11-12% and it is in line with the previous years.
00:34Now, everyone can understand, even those who are not doctors,
00:38that if in an adult woman, after 30-34 years,
00:42abortion is on 12-14%, the spontaneous one,
00:46how is it possible that in an age group where the pathologies,
00:50the problems that lead to abortion at 14-9 years old,
00:54there are no pathologies that can justify such a high prevalence?
00:59The explanation is simple.
01:01You have an abortion,
01:03when you take a prostaglandin, an abortion drug,
01:06you have a hemorrhage, you go to the emergency room,
01:09you say you had a spontaneous abortion,
01:11but that is not a spontaneous abortion.
01:13However, ISTAT records that 11% of teenagers between 14 and 19 years old
01:21have a spontaneous abortion.
01:23The other aspect is about eugenic abortion,
01:26which in the last 30 years has gone from 0.5% to 6.5%
01:31and has increased 12 times.
01:33Why is this?
01:34What is the response of the report?
01:36That prenatal diagnosis techniques are not designed
01:40to see if there is an alternative.
01:42As the same 194 records,
01:45there is an alternative of diagnosis clarification.
01:48It is almost never done.
01:50There is an alternative of fetal therapy.
01:52Nobody prospects it.
01:54There are prenatal palliation techniques.
01:56Nobody talks about it.
01:58There are even accompaniment techniques,
02:00where babies considered incompatible with life
02:03then in 40% are very compatible.
02:06So, all this world of ignorance,
02:09or in any case of lies,
02:11must be debunked with numbers, with evidence,
02:14because the ancients used to say
02:16contra factum, non valet argumentum.
02:18And let us remember that 400 years before the coming of Christ,
02:22there was the curator Ventris,
02:24there was a lawyer of the infant in Utrecht.
02:27But the report clearly says
02:30that we invest thousands and millions of euros
02:35in a search for a wrong concept.
02:39For eugenic abortion, we all know
02:42that it is not that by eliminating suffering,
02:44we eliminate suffering.
02:46Yet, this possibility is overcome.
02:48Not only is it overcome, but it is proposed,
02:51it is supported.
02:53So, this is a fundamental first fact.
02:56Not to mention all the forms of social policies
03:00that could be helped
03:02to sustain conditions of care for infants in Utrecht.
03:07All this is silenced
03:09because it is denied the use of a voluntary interruption of pregnancy.
