00:00Oregon, number one, nine and oh, as we stated, Ohio State, Georgia, Miami, Texas, Penn State,
00:08Tennessee, Indiana, BYU, Notre Dame, Alabama, and Boise State are the top 12.
00:12I'll start with this question first for you, Dubsy.
00:15Any surprises as it relates to maybe who's been left out or where some of these teams
00:20sit in that top 12?
00:21Yeah, I think you teased it off the top there, Donnie.
00:25A little surprised that some of the undefeated teams are sitting a little higher.
00:29Miami taking that four spot, they're sitting at nine and oh for their campaign, Indiana
00:33and BYU taking out eighth and ninth spot here, respectively, but I guess for us it's more
00:38of a gauge of how the committee are going to see some of these big teams and some of
00:42these big match-ups going through the final month of football.
00:46I agree with Oregon, the Ducks being in that top spot.
00:49I like the look of Ohio State and suddenly for Georgia at seven to one, a nice little
00:54path opening up for them, taking out that three spot, getting that second seed there
00:58with Miami sitting in that four spot.
01:00So a little surprised as you highlighted there, Donnie, it really doesn't have a great impact,
01:06but I guess it sort of gets us out of our seats saying, hey, there's only a month left
01:10of college football before we hit this new look, playoffs.
01:15I'm still a little intrigued of how it's all going to look, how it's going to feel.
01:19I mean, I was just getting used to how things were a little different here in the college
01:22football landscape, players getting paid, NIL deals going left, right, quarterbacks on
01:28the chopping block.
01:29But yeah, I guess that was the big takeaway for me, but no surprises who's up top.
01:33Yeah.
01:34You take a look at those top two there, it's Oregon and Ohio State, but then you take a
01:38look at the odds market here.
01:39Oregon is the number one team, plus 450 to win a national championship.
01:43Georgia actually coming in with the college football rank at number three, sitting at
01:47a plus 350 price to win that.
01:50If I do have, because college football typically, Dubsy, if you are a power five team, they
01:55used to really rely on what your record actually is.
01:58You play the football games and if you don't have any losses in a power five conference,
02:01regardless of how tough it is, usually get a catapult up to the top of the standings.
02:06But I do agree with the committee technically is doing like Indiana.
02:09I've blasted them a little bit early in the week, more of a sarcastic, but they haven't
02:12played anybody.
02:13So rightfully so.
02:14Yes, they're in the playoff, which is the design, but they sit in that eighth spot at
02:17nine and O. BYU sits there at eight and O, quality football team unbeaten there.
02:21Also the Miami Hurricanes sit at number four.
02:24Now I am a Hurricanes fan, but I'm almost an unbiased fan as well because I say to myself,
02:29I don't know if they're as good as Oregon.
02:30I don't think they're as good as Ohio state.
02:32Georgia is really good.
02:34Miami's had some close encounters in the ACC, but still Miami is unbeaten.
02:38But the great part about this is Dubsy.
02:40We're not saying like, Ooh, is Miami going to drop down to five or six and maybe not
02:44make it into the playoff or seven or eight.
02:46I love the fact that there's 12 teams here because I'm not upset that Miami is nine and
02:50O and sitting in that four seat.
02:52I'm also not upset that Indiana BYU are unbeaten and technically if it was last year would
02:56be out of the playoff.
02:57I think that would be unfair.
02:58So for me looking at this overall, I don't mind this one bit.
03:02So if we're looking at that top 12 Dubsy, are you angry at any of these teams or also
03:06more importantly, you look at number 13 SMU, 14 A&M, 15 LSU, there's a lot of games coming
03:12up on the schedule.
03:13Is there somebody outside of that top 12 Dubsy you're looking at right now?
03:16Like, Ooh, you know what?
03:17I think they can climb into that top 12.
