00:30We always talk about mass deportation.

00:33They say that from 300,000 to 400,000, the figures are different because we don't have an exact figure,

00:42of undocumented Filipinos in the United States.

00:46The administration of Donald Trump seems to be continuing the mass deportation of undocumented people in the United States.

00:59But what is not discussed are the so-called dangers or fears that can lead to green cards,

01:09the so-called papers.

01:14And among them, there are also fears of naturalized citizens,

01:19those who already have citizenship.

01:24Even though they are not Filipinos in the United States, they are undergoing the process.

01:28Because there is a so-called denaturalization policy in the United States.

01:32Actually, this is not just from Donald Trump.

01:35There has been a denaturalization process for a long time.

01:38Even in the time of President Umbaba, the naturalized Filipinos, whoever they are,

01:43can also reverse their citizenship if they have proven that they are citizens acquired through fraudulent means.

01:53But in 2020, it is not rare to use this.

01:56In 2020, former President Trump started to use this, but he lost the 2020 elections.

02:09that they will turbocharge the denaturalization process.

02:26Because we know that one of the activities of a Filipino who becomes a citizen

02:30after becoming a tourist in the United States is to marry an American.

02:37And sometimes, they even pay for it.

02:39We call it marriage for sale, bought marriages.

02:43And if they get a green card, they will get a divorce.

02:48According to the law of the United States, this is a fraud.

02:52Because this is marriage for profit, not because they love each other,

02:56not because this is a genuine marriage, but a transaction.

03:00So, this kind of activity happens under the presidency of Donald Trump.

03:07Because they clearly stated that even if you are a naturalized citizen of the United States,

03:15if the investigation shows that you got your green card under fraud,

03:21and it is clear that you married and paid an American,

03:25that is considered a fraud.
