00:00Hello. Changes are on the way with our weather particularly for the weekend but
00:04for the time being the very dry start to November continues. Big differences
00:09though whether you've got the cloud and the mist or the autumn sunshine which
00:13much of the east and the south has. Northern and western parts staying pretty
00:17gloomy particularly Northern Ireland, Southwest Scotland and Northwest
00:20England. Some mist and fog in places here particularly over hills. But generally
00:25it's dry with some sunshine across central and eastern Scotland temperatures
00:28getting into the teens 14-15 possible in one or two places. 10-11-12 further
00:33south with some sunshine feeling quite pleasant but a bit of a brisk breeze
00:36again over the Channel Isles and across northern Scotland where it stays cloudy.
00:40Temperatures may struggle to get out of single digit. Now we're all turn a bit
00:45cloudy I think as we go through the night cloud spilling in from the north
00:49down the eastern side of England generating a little bit of light rain
00:52and drizzle for a time over East Anglia through the early hours across the
00:55southeast and we'll see some rain edging into the northwest of Scotland
00:59at times as well. But again for most it's a dry night with more cloud it
01:03won't be as cold for most of us compared to recent nights. Before the
01:07cloud spills in across the south it could just turn a little bit chilly. But
01:11a grey and perhaps even drizzly start first thing on Thursday along the south
01:16coast. But any early rain should scoot away maybe bringing one or two light
01:20showers during the morning to the Channel Isles. We'll see again some
01:24showery rain at times across the far north of Scotland and come the afternoon
01:27northern parts of Northern Ireland could see a little light rain and drizzle. But
01:30for most it's another dry day tomorrow quite a lot of cloud more cloud than
01:35today over these eastern and southern parts. But we should still see a few
01:39breaks in the cloud a glimmer of sunshine poking through that'll lift
01:43the temperatures perhaps once more up into the teens. Most places though 11 or
01:4712 degrees Celsius. During Thursday evening not a great deal of change
01:52still a bit of a breeze blowing tomorrow around some of the coasts
01:55across the southeast. Thickening cloud up towards the northwest with a little bit
01:59of drizzle here and there. High pressure continuing to keep things dry for the
02:03next few days. But here comes the change this cold front zipping across the
02:08northern half of the country Friday night and into Saturday bringing some
02:12rain a short sharp spell of rain and potentially some gusty winds too
02:16particularly those closely packed isobars across the northern isles Friday
02:20night and into Saturday. But it's a cold front so perhaps more importantly it's
02:24bringing the colder air. If we rewind and see where it's coming from this area of
02:29low pressure between Iceland and Greenland the cold front from that
02:33drifting south and bringing with it the colder air. So we'll notice that change
02:38to chillier conditions I think as we go through the weekend. How much wet weather
02:43we see particularly during Sunday well there's still a bit of uncertainty about
02:47that but Aiden will have much more on the details for that and the
02:51uncertainty to go into next week on our 10-day trend and that'll be available on
02:56our YouTube channel by Wednesday afternoon.
