00:00The Office of Civil Defense in Eastern Visayas reports no casualty following the onslaught of recent typhoons.
00:07This is being attributed to the coordinated efforts of government agencies and local communities
00:12in preparing for and responding to calamities.

00:21Through the combined efforts of various government agencies and the cooperation of the local communities,
00:27Eastern Visayas region has zero casualty after the onslaught of Super Typhoon Pepito
00:32as officially declared by the Office of Civil Defense, Region 8.
00:36We're very happy with the result because we have zero casualty, meaning no deaths, no injuries, no missing.
00:45And because of the combined effort of all the agencies, we also have a very effective pre-emptive evacuation.
00:52With this, the LGA Regional Director Arnold Agabi commended the preparedness measures of the LGUs
00:59and the cooperation of the communities as well.
01:02So, we are thankful because our local communities immediately acted on the advisory given by the Regional Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council.
01:15At the same time, we also appreciate the cooperation of our residents.
01:22As everything returns to normal, LOSU-PITRAN of Sagahan, Tacloban City expressed their gratitude
01:28for the government's early warning which allowed them to prepare.
01:32According to DSWD-8, Super Typhoon Pepito has affected 57,752 families from 373 barangays or 205,297 individuals in the region.
