00:00News from PNA, the Agriculture Department is continuing its work to improve the agriculture sector in the country.
00:09According to DA Assistant Secretary Anglel De Mesa,
00:12the country has 12 to 14 financing projects,
00:17including the World Bank, Asian Development Bank, and French Government.
00:22This is part of their plan to secure multi-billion dollars worth of foreign financing
00:28so that the projects can be funded.
00:31The pre-appraisal mission for the Philippine Sustainable Agriculture Transformation Project
00:39is expected to start next week.
00:42Meanwhile, the DA and the World Bank have a scoping mission
00:46to secure US$300 million under the Micro, Small, and Medium Access to Finance and Climate Resiliency Project.
00:56The ADB approved US$100 million for the Solar Irrigation Project and other projects.
01:04The DA also plans to fund Farm-to-Market Bridges Nationwide
01:09with the help of a fund from the French Government.
