00:00The target is still 10,000 charging stations, but the most important thing is not the number of charging points, but the number of DC charging points.
00:13MITI has increased the target for DC chargers from 1,000 units to 1,500 units by 2025.
00:26We hope that we can reach 1,500 DC chargers because DC is a fast charger.
00:35The second point is that there will be a lot of PHEVs, plug-in hybrids.
00:42So it's not just pure EV, but also plug-in hybrids where oil and electricity are used together.
00:56This will help even though the charging point is not as high as in other countries, but PHEV is also an approach to electrification.
01:10The third point is that for regions that do not have charging points,
01:17MITI is working with the Selangor and Johor governments to ensure that every region has at least a few DC charging points.
01:29This is an effort that we have carried out.
01:32We hope that after the pilot with Selangor and Johor,
01:36we can expand to all countries to ensure that every region has a charging point.
