00:30just like here in Guadalupe Public Market in Makati City.

00:39You can buy well-milled rice of 40 pesos per kilo in the rise for all program of the Executive of the President.

00:45It's cheaper than what you can buy in the market of 45 to 50 pesos of well-milled rice.

00:50Aside from the implementation of the rise for all program in the markets,

00:53discrepancies have been raised by lowering the price of imported rice and the high retail price.

01:00Since the execution of Executive Order No. 62 last July, where the price of rice is lowered from 35% to 50%.

01:08The Department of Agriculture is actively coordinating with importers and retailers to reduce the price of rice.

01:16But because of the slow progress here, the DA made an alternative solution

01:21by implementing the rise for all program in the markets to be a direct competitor to the retailers

01:27and to reduce the price of rice in the market.

01:32This is also a way for the public to easily access the cheap rice of the Executive of the President.

01:37Aside from here in Guadalupe Public Market, there's also a rise for all program in Kamuning Market,

01:42Pasay City Public Market, New Las Piñas City Public Market, and Malabon Central Market.

01:48The DA is already coordinating with DILG, DTI, DOLE, DSWD, and the offices of the President

01:55to support the rise of the Executive of the President.

01:58This is in line with the intention of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. for food security

02:03and to make the price of rice stable in the country.

02:06Naomi, officials of the Department of Agriculture are expected to visit the markets

02:16where the rise for all program of the DA will be rolled out.

02:20For here in Guadalupe Public Market, it will be open from 8am to 5pm.
