00:00Just on the contracts, has anybody rejected one? It seems like that might be, or people think they're going to reject one, I don't know.
00:07No, no.
00:08Not aware of that?
00:09No, we're in a position where I spoke to one or two, but it works both ways.
00:19And the conversation with the players I spoke to, I want every player to do well, right?
00:27So I want every player to do well.
00:28If someone thinks they can go and get more money elsewhere, play at a higher level, fantastic, that's brilliant.
00:34But likewise, I won't allow us to stand still and wait for that, wait for an answer.
00:39We have to keep looking for that replacement.
00:42And then there comes a point where, well, we can get this player, we can agree this, so we need a decision.
00:47Yes, I know, well, we move forward and make a decision.
00:49Whether that's players who are out of contract, whether that's players you're trying to sign,
00:53you never want to be held to ransom because you've only got one option.
00:56So my challenge to the recruitment team, and then to Peter in negotiating, is you get two, three, four,
01:03to a point where, right, we're ready to make a decision or we need to make a decision.
01:08This is what we're going with, unless, otherwise if you're only ever putting all your eggs in one basket,
01:13not only are you missing out on others, but you end up overpaying,
01:16whether that's to your own players or players who you're bringing in.
01:19Have you made any offers yet to keep people? Is it still early days?
01:22Still early days, yes, still early days. So, offers I'm not using, is there a contract? No.
01:27Conversations, yes.
