00:09stories at this hour. While work on the Sheikh Zayed Road diversion
00:13to pave way for the Dubai Canal project is in full swing, traffic on the internal roads
00:17in Al-Wasl area have been badly affected. The exit to Sheikh Zayed Road from Umm Amara
00:22Street has now been narrowed to one track again, bringing the tailbacks to previous
00:26levels when the work first began earlier this year.
00:29According to the RTA, the diversion for Sheikh Zayed Road will be ready by October 25th.
