Kevin Quiambao to leave La Salle
Kevin Quiambao may be leaving La Salle for the Korean Basketball League but the Green Archers' lineup is still solid for the UAAP Season 88 men's basketball next year.
The 2-time MVP Quiambao is leaving La Salle in good hands with transferees Kean Baclaan, Jacob Cortez, Mason Amos, and Luis Pablo finally eligible to play next season.
Quiambao's 3-year UAAP career came to an end on December 16, 2024 when La Salle fell to UP in the deciding Game 3 of the Season 87, 62-66, finals at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

00:00For me, I'm going to rest for now and then I think until this December, I'm going to rest for now and then I don't know what's next.
00:13I don't know.
00:14Like Korea, there's going to be a disaster.
00:17For now, I don't know what to think. I'm going to rest for now because it's been 8 months since I've been out.
00:27As a leader, he's just a leader of the team.
00:39I don't have anything to say. We fought hard. We just finished.
00:45KKing, you sat out during the clutch minutes of the game. Was there any what-if thing or how you discussed it?
00:53What-if? Nothing. I trusted Coach Topics ever since day 1.
00:58I was just a bit nervous.
01:01When I sat down, I thought it was just 1 minute. I was told it was just 1 minute.
01:07But it's not a problem for me.
01:09It's over. It's a tie.
01:15Kevin, what can you say that fell short but still a good year?
01:20And what can you say about your teammates who will be either with you, playing with you, or you'll be watching them aside?
01:27I'm proud of all my teammates.
01:31I'm proud of the hard work they've done since day 1.
01:36We've been through so much throughout the season.
01:45I love them all.
01:48I'm excited for the future holds.
01:51I'm excited that Ian Bacat, Jacob Cortez, and Luis Pablo will be there.
01:58How will we play next season?
02:01I don't know. But for sure, they will be scary next season.
