00:05led the inauguration of the new Philippines OFW Action Center.

00:09Its goal is to pay off the sacrifices of OFWs

00:12through a fast and effective process.

00:15Kenneth Paciente is back with the national news.

00:21Gabrielle has been an OFW for four years in Saudi.

00:24She admitted that it was not easy in the past

00:26to file papers for an individual to leave the country.

00:30It's really hard, especially since it's my first time abroad.

00:36It's really hard because you have to meet a lot of requirements.

00:43The experience of OFWs was supported by the government.

00:47That's why President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. and First Lady Liza Araneta Marcos

00:52led the inauguration of the new Philippines OFW Action Center.

00:57It's part of the new home of the Department of Migrant Workers in Makati City, according to the President.

01:02This is just one of many steps of the government

01:05to pay off the sacrifices of OFWs

01:08through a fast and efficient process of their needs.

01:12The Action Center is not just an office.

01:16It's a symbol of fast, efficient, and integrated services for OFWs.

01:24It aims to make their process easier

01:29from reintegration, legal assistance, to employment,

01:35and other services they need.

01:38This Action Center will serve as a pathway for OFWs

01:42because its services include their needs to leave the country,

01:47to work abroad, and to return to the Philippines.

01:52It also serves other government agencies such as

01:55SSS, Pag-ibig, PhilHealth, TESDA, Department of Agriculture, DOH, DOLE, DTI, and others.

02:03To all OFWs returning to the country,

02:07instead of worrying about the long lines and complicated processes,

02:12we will provide you with a fast and efficient system

02:16so that you can get the services, benefits, and programs of our government.

02:22Also, for our countrymen who will start their journey as OFWs,

02:30you will be helped in every step of your application.

02:34From contracts, legal protection, to employment,

02:39we assure every corner of the world that there is a government ready to help you.

02:45OFWs will also be able to use the space provided for them as a resting place

02:50while filing documents without being paid.

02:53Again, the President assured that the government will continue to strive

02:57to speed up the processes such as the launch of the E-GovPH app.

03:01He also does not discourage the government to take steps

03:04to create more opportunities here in the Philippines.

03:08Under our government, we assure that every Filipino,

03:13especially our workers in different countries,

03:18will be able to experience fast and efficient services from our government.

03:24Moreover, this is a reminder of a brighter future

03:31that we are striving for every Filipino.

03:34A country does not need a list to be able to find a decent job.

03:41And for those who choose to work abroad,

03:44they are assured that the government will fully support them.
