00:23Dr Shahliza Warno on Friday that so far, no other documents were submitted to the defence.
00:30The DPP added that the list of witnesses, including witness statements, if any, will
00:36be submitted to the lawyers before the trial date via email.
00:40Lawyer M. Haresh, representing Zaim Ikhwan Zahari and Isma Neera Abdul Manaf, confirmed
00:46that the defence had received the chemistry report and CD from the prosecution.
00:51The court then maintained the trial dates previously set from February 3 till March
00:5614 for the case.
00:58Previously, the prosecution informed the court that it would call 15 prosecution witnesses
01:04in the trial of the case.
01:06On December 6, 2023, Zain Ryan's body was found in a stream near his home in Damansara,
01:12Damai, after being reported missing the day before.
01:16The child is believed to have been murdered when the autopsy results found injuries to
01:21his neck and body from self-defence.
