00:00Hello there, very good afternoon to you. Sunshine is in short supply once again
00:04today and will be over the next few days as well. We do also have a cold front out
00:09towards the west, it's stretching up from all the way from parts of Portugal but
00:13it's now arriving into Northern Ireland, the Outer Hebrides and we'll move into
00:16other areas of Western Scotland throughout today as well, bringing fairly
00:20light and patchy rain. Parts of Northern Scotland though seeing the finest day
00:24today, quite widespread sunshine here whereas elsewhere we are going to be
00:27plagued by some very grey and dull skies. This cloud will be bringing outbreaks of
00:32drizzle, also some snow grains which is frozen drizzle but with the lack of
00:36sunshine it certainly is going to be feeling chilly for many of us.
00:39Temperatures only seeing highs of 3 to 4 degrees Celsius in places. A little
00:44milder out towards the west, just reaching 8 to 9 degrees Celsius here.
00:48This band of rain in the west will continue to push its way further inland
00:51as we head into this evening and overnight. Again it's going to be a
00:55fairly weak affair, just providing a fairly damp picture to end the day.
00:59Some clear spells will hold on for north-eastern Scotland, we might see the
01:02cloud break a touch more into England and Wales as well tonight but where it
01:06does so, temperatures will drop off and we could see some patchy frost in places
01:10underneath the clearer spells. Again a touch milder to kick off Monday morning
01:14out towards the northwest but there could be a good deal of fog around in
01:18Northern Ireland first thing on Monday so quite misty and murky here as you're
01:21heading back to work just to take care of. Some clearer spells and sunshine once
01:26again for northern Scotland seeing the greatest chance but there'll be some
01:29showers drifting into the far northwest that could be heavy with some hail and
01:32thunder around. That frontal system now just pushing into parts of northern
01:35England affecting areas of Wales as well but for many of us it is going to be
01:38cloudy once again with sunshine at a premium. Temperatures ranging between 4
01:43and 9 degrees Celsius. There's not that much deal of change throughout Tuesday
01:49and Wednesday we hold on to a reasonably cloudy picture with that
01:52sunshine limited once again but as we head towards the back end of the
01:56forthcoming week there are signs that things are going to be turning much more
01:59unsettled for us. Heavy rain arriving, some strong winds, we could also see snow
02:04in places as well so it is worth staying up to date with the forecast because
02:08some disruption is possible as we head towards the latter stages of this next
02:12week. We'll have plenty more updates on all of that of course on our YouTube
02:16channel, social media and elsewhere so make sure you're subscribed for all of
02:19those and we'll see you again very soon. Bye bye.
