00:00Hello there, good afternoon. Some of us woke up to quite a grey and damp start this morning
00:05but in the west it was much brighter and that's likely where we'll see the best of the sunshine
00:09today. So across Northern Ireland, southern parts of Wales, Devon and Cornwall, also the
00:13south west and just to the north east of Scotland too, that's where we're likely to see plenty
00:17of sunny spells. But across a large portion of the country that cloud tends to stick around,
00:22could also see some drizzly spots mainly across hilly areas. And temperatures are round about
00:28average for this time of the year, perhaps slightly milder across the south west, highs
00:32of around 9-10 Celsius. As we head through into the evening there's not much change really,
00:38still plenty of cloud around, particularly across eastern and south eastern parts of
00:42the country, once again turning quite grey and murky by the time we reach the morning.
00:46But there are going to be some clearer periods once again across Wales and parts of the south
00:50west, north eastern parts of Scotland. That's where temperatures are likely to dip away,
00:55could even see some patchy frost by the morning and we will start to see a little bit of a
00:58change just to the north west. Clouds spilling in here, turning rather windy and also some
01:03outbreaks of drizzle just to the west of Scotland by the time we reach Saturday morning. Then
01:08for the beginning of the weekend, once again there will be some sunshine in places, mainly
01:13through the middle part of the country, so north western parts of Wales, perhaps the
01:16north east of England and Scotland, also across the south west seeing the best of the brightness.
01:21But across the south east, similar to today, that's where the cloud is likely to stick
01:25around. Turning very windy from the north west too, a chance we could even see some
01:30gales in the very far north west of Scotland and starting to see some longer spells of
01:33rain just edge into western parts of Northern Ireland and north western parts of Scotland,
01:38and temperatures once again around about average, perhaps slightly milder across Northern Ireland
01:42and western parts of Scotland. Then for the second part of the weekend we still have this
01:48frontal system to contend with. It doesn't edge in very far south eastwards, so it does
01:54largely remain stalled across the country by the time we reach Sunday morning. But behind
01:59it we do have a ridge beginning to build, so we should start to see the west brighten
02:03up through the course of the afternoon, but for many it's going to be quite a damp start
02:07on Sunday. But as this frontal system sticks around, it generally weakens, so largely just
02:13periods of cloud through the afternoon. And across the south east, likely to see a brighter
02:17day compared to the last couple of days too, so seeing some sunshine here. Also once again
02:22across western parts of Northern Ireland and western parts of Scotland. But for many, Sunday
02:27likely to be a rather cloudy day, also quite damp at times too. But once again, temperatures
02:33round about average for the beginning of February. That's everything from me. Don't forget for

02:41that's it. Bye bye.
