00:00Hello there. It's been quite a grey and gloomy start to the new working week. Now Tuesday
00:05is going to be much of the same, especially through the morning, where we will see some
00:08mist and fog patches, especially across the south. Now that will lift through the morning
00:12towards some lower cloud, but we could even see some hazy sunshine by the late morning
00:17and into the afternoon. But the best of the sunshine will be across Northern Ireland and
00:21for much of Scotland if we do manage to avoid these showers in the west. Across Northern
00:26Wales and Northern England, we do have this band of rain, which is a little bit patchy
00:30and could bring some light rain through much of the afternoon. But it will be a cool day
00:34to come. Most places around six or seven degrees, which is around the seasonal average for January.
00:41Now as we go through the evening and overnight period, this band of rain will slowly start
00:45to fizzle out, but we do have some more light rain moving in across the south. So southern
00:50counties of England will turn a little bit wetter by the early hours, but we will see
00:54some more breaks across Northern England and eastern Scotland as well, which will allow
00:58those temperatures to fall away by the early hours of Wednesday morning. So we could see
01:02some frosty patches for people waking up pretty early, but for much of the towns and cities
01:07will stay above freezing for the time being. Now through Wednesday morning, that rain towards
01:13the southeast will continue through the morning, but it will slowly start to push its way off
01:17towards the North Sea by the late morning and into the afternoon, which will leave a
01:21mostly dry day across much of the UK. We could even see some sunnier spells starting
01:26to develop across the southwest, central England and much of the northeast of the UK as well.
01:31But despite that sunshine, it's probably going to be a little bit cooler than what we saw
01:35on Tuesday. Most places around five or six degrees, maybe a little bit milder towards
01:39the southwest. We could even see a nine or a ten by the late afternoon. Now, by the back
01:44end of the week, it is going to turn a much more unsettled, windier conditions to come.
