01:06to the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas to boost energy infrastructure.
01:11Meanwhile, the Petroleum Subsidy was reduced to Rs 11,925 crore,
01:16which is 2.57% less than the previous year.
01:21Prior to the Union Budget 2025, the Confederation of Indian Industry, i.e. CII,
01:26has requested to reduce fuel on excise duty while reducing consumption and inflation.
01:35If the Government pays attention to this recommendation,
01:38customers can see a reduction in petrol and diesel prices.
01:44The reduction in fuel costs will also affect transportation and logistics,
01:48which will benefit many industries.
01:50After this budget, India's pharmaceutical sector can see major changes.
01:55There is a shortage of essential medicines.
01:59Biotech company Biocor Limited has asked the Government to tax free
02:04essential medicines for cancer and rare diseases.
02:07If this step is implemented, it will boost India's health care ecosystem
02:12and make essential treatments more accessible to patients.
02:16In the Union Budget 2024-25, the Government allotted Rs 15,500 crore to the electronics sector,
02:23which focuses on semiconductor and mobile manufacturing.
02:27The purpose of this scheme is to strengthen home-made manufacturing

03:00while reducing prices for domestic consumers.
03:04This is also seen as an answer to the challenges faced by neighboring competitors like Bangladesh.
03:09To give relief to the middle class and boost disposable income,
03:13the Government is considering reducing the income tax for people with an income of up to Rs 1.5 million annually.
03:20The power to spend from this kind of step can increase,
03:23which can increase consumption in different sectors.
03:26Taxpayers are also keenly watching the improvement in the tax slab or the increased cut-off under Section 80C.
03:33There is hope for change in the priorities of infrastructure,
03:36along with a significant increase in the allotment for railway modernization.
03:40According to reports, to boost government connectivity and economic activity,
03:44it can put more pressure on the railway as compared to road transportation.
03:48This focus can affect pricing in sectors related to manufacturing, logistics and transport services.
