00:00Good morning, well it will be a largely fine, dry day across much of England and Wales through
00:05Monday but turning increasingly wet and windy in the north west. So a chilly start out there
00:10across the south east of England but a bright start. We'll start to see this cloud across
00:15central parts of England and the south moving its way through, so turning cloudier through
00:20the afternoon. Behind that, some hazy spells of sunshine across parts of Wales and the
00:25south west of England but turning increasingly unsettled across Northern Ireland and western
00:31parts of Scotland. Some strong winds coming through as well, coastal gales, gusts of 50
00:37to 60 miles per hour and some very heavy spells of rain moving through. But as for temperatures
00:43actually here we'll see the highest temperatures, so highs of up to 10 or 11 degrees. As we
00:50go through Monday evening then heavy spells of rain and strong winds will further move
00:55into Northern Ireland and much of Scotland and Northern England through rush hour. So
01:00do take care, could be some spray on the roads. That leads a damp start across north western
01:05parts of England and into Wales but largely cloudier towards the south of that. So it's
01:12not going to be as cold to start Tuesday morning than this morning. Temperatures generally
01:18ranging of 4 to even 8 or 9 degrees. But a windier picture on Tuesday, a damp start
01:26across the north west of England into parts of Wales and then later on in the morning
01:31and afternoon we'll start to see heavier spells of rain moving through. So an unsettled picture
01:36across Wales, south west England and northern England through Tuesday. Brighter spells potentially
01:43developing across the far south east but behind this band of rain we'll start to see sunnier
01:48spells developing but also frequent showers across Northern Ireland and Scotland turning
01:54colder behind as well. So some of the showers could turn a little bit wintry over the highest
01:59ground of Scotland through Tuesday afternoon. As for temperatures though milder in the south
02:05we'll see highs of up to 10 or 11 degrees. Looking ahead then through midweek actually
02:12higher pressure will be building in from the south so settled with plenty of sunshine on
02:17offer but it will be turning colder and overnight we'll see the return of frost and some fog patches
02:24too. But for more details on that make sure to hit subscribe so you don't miss a forecast
02:29and I'll see you soon. Bye bye.
