00:00So Newcastle United are in cup action again, this time in the FA Cup against Birmingham City here at St Andrews.
00:07And of course, Newcastle have come into this game heavy favourites. They'll be hoping to avoid a giant killing against a Ligue 1 team.
00:13But Birmingham are a Ligue 1 team in name, but they will be a championship team next year. They're doing very well in Ligue 1.
00:18They've got some good financial backing of course. Tom Brady, one of their co-owners.
00:23So yeah, it'll be a good game and a really tough test for Eddie Howeside.
00:26We're expecting Howard to rotate his team from the one that started against Arsenal in midweek.
00:31Probably upwards of seven or eight changes expected really, including the goalkeeper. Will Nick Pope come back in?
00:36Of course, it's a really good substitute for Dubravka, but other than that, obviously Sven Botman won't play.
00:41We know he's injured. Will Alexander Isak play? It's very unlikely.
00:44You've got Bruno Canaris, Sandro Tonali. Will any of them play?
00:47So it's interesting what Eddie Howard does, but as much as they'll rotate the team, they'll still expect to win here.
00:53But they'll have to be on top form. Eddie Howard knows all about giant killings in the FA Cup.
00:56Andy Gassell, of course, he got beat by Cambridge United in one of his very first games at St James' Park.
01:01And then of course, Sheffield Wednesday, a year after that.
01:04So they'll be very wary of being another victim of a giant killing.
01:10But it's a game where 4,000 Newcastle fans turn up to it.
01:12They'll expect to see their team put on a performance and really show why they are Premier League and why Birmingham are Ligue 1.
01:18But it's going to be a difficult game. One that Newcastle should win.
01:21And then, you know, they're another step to Wembley.
01:23Of course, the highs of Wednesday night will not be forgotten, but they have to deliver it now.
01:27You know, follow that up and deliver it because they've got three really tough Premier League games to come before, hopefully, the next round of the Cups are yet.
01:33It's going to be a big test for Newcastle at day one that they should come through.
01:37But of course, if they're not at 100 percent, then they will get punished by a very decent Birmingham City opposition.
