00:00BIT 2025, Puglia presents the data on tourism, more than 10% in 2024.
00:29Transport, Trenitalia to BIT 2025, back to the connection in Frecciarossa, Milan-Paris.
00:36Presented in Rome is the manifesto of Italian airports, on the occasion of Airport Day, to celebrate the successes of a company in strong growth.
00:45Old-fashioned food with a record of more than 3.46 million cruisers in 2024, plus 4.3% compared to the previous year.
00:55The Texel Made in Italy in the world, a year as protagonists.
01:04For several years now, Puglia has been a magnet for tourism, not only domestic but also international.
01:10A democratic tourism that welcomes both young people looking for fun at low costs, as well as adults who choose luxury and relaxation,
01:17and that, in addition to the coasts, touches the inland, the places of culture and natural beauties.
01:23Of the excellent performance of tourism in Puglia, the BIT 2025 was discussed in Milan, the most important manifestation in Italy for innovation in the sector of travel and tourism.
01:34We have invested 360 degrees over the years on tourism.
01:40It is the result of a capacity to spend European funds.
01:45It is the result of a capacity to spend European funds.
01:51On the front of tourism, in the course of the Emilian administration, the Puglia region has in fact pursued a precise goal.
02:19To make and transform Puglia into a recognizable brand, but with a large community at the base.
02:25A community made up of entrepreneurs, tour operators, 250 trade unions, which today represent not 250 town halls,
02:32but a united community that is committed to the whole world for what it is.
02:38That is, a reality that wants to emerge and that does it with the traits of the people of Formica, as Tommaso Fiore called it.
02:47That is, the work, the commitment and the desire to always improve.
02:51The Director of the Department of Tourism of the Puglia region will present the data of the report.
02:56I see an increase of 10% of the arrivals of the presence, overall.
03:01In fact, the significant fact is that the international arrivals, the international presence, is growing by double, by 22%.
03:09But the even more interesting thing is that looking at a broader arc, the last 10 years,
03:14those in which we have implemented these policies, using, from our point of view,
03:19at best, the European structural funds that have been made available to us,
03:22we have a doubling of the rate of internationalization in our region.
03:26It was 20% in 2015, we have exceeded 41%.
03:31The increase of international tourists is a significant element
03:35that confirms the goodness of the internationalization policies adopted by the Puglia region.
03:40This shows us how the policies that we have implemented in these years of internationalization of our destination
03:48are working, they are working at best, not only for the markets that we are able to attract,
03:54but also for the fact of placing tourist products in periods of the year
04:00that until some time ago it was not even possible to imagine.
04:0540% of the tourist presence in the region occurs in the summer months.
04:12This is a great fact to continue to think about.
04:20Milan-Paris in the red arrow.
04:22From April 1, 2025, it will be possible again for tourists and workers to travel at high speed
04:28from the capital Lombardy to the French capital and vice versa.
04:32Trenitalia and Trenitalia France announce it in a joint conference
04:37on the occasion of the 2025 edition of the Bitta Milano,
04:40the most important manifestation in Italy for innovation in the sector of travel and tourism.
04:46Like Milan and Paris, two capitals of business, culture and tourism.
04:54Bringing the new red arrow to Paris and vice versa
04:59means that our European network tends to grow
05:07with cross-borders that connect Italy and France for the moment.
05:14When I say that the Reggio Calabria-Paris is possible in continuity with the red arrow,
05:21it is something that will be possible from April 1.
05:25The return of the connection between Milan and Paris in the red arrow
05:29is just one of the key points of the European development of the red arrow network.
05:34Trenitalia France will launch another important connection in June,
05:39between Paris and Marseille, confirmed in Lyon, Avignon and Aix-en-Provence.
05:46This shows that the red arrow network is expanding
05:50and, as my colleague has said,
05:52it will give customers more and more connections between Italy and France.
05:58The important thing is that the brand is unique and the type of service is also unique.
06:05A quality service with the possibility of choosing more levels of service,
06:11executive, standard business, with a restoration of quality to Italian.
06:17We want holidays and pleasure to start directly from travel.
06:27Assa Aeroporti and the Italian airports together to tell the central role of the sector
06:32for the economic development, progress and sustainability of our country.
06:36This is the Airport Day, a widespread event made up of talks, meetings and institutional meetings,
06:41a day dedicated to a share that affects the Italian GDP by 3.8%
06:46and generates 1.3 million jobs.
06:49A leading sector of a constant process of innovation and transformation,
06:53always committed to combining social, economic and environmental sustainability values.
06:58Airports play a very important role in the territories.
07:02Naturally, depending on the dimensions and locations of the airports in the territories,
07:07this role declines in a different way.
07:10But once it was said, from space to place, and we want to go further.
07:14From amorphous spaces to subjects of a comprehensive development of the territories.
07:21And many examples, many paths in action show that this is true.
07:25The Airport Day, taking place in Italian airports, was presented in Rome with a press conference,
07:31live with the airport management companies,
07:34which saw the participation of the Vice President of the Council of Ministers
07:37and Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, Matteo Salvini,
07:41the President of ENAC, Pierluigi Di Palma,
07:43the Administrator and Delegate of SACE, Alessandra Ricci,
07:46the Delegate of the President of Confindustria per i Trasporti, Leopoldo Destro,
07:50together with the President of Assa Aeroporti, Carlo Borgomeo.
07:53The role of airports is fundamental,
07:55because if we think about the impact of airports on the export key, it makes a plus 10%.
08:00So it means that every time we invest in airports,
08:03we are investing in our ability to export and therefore we are investing in the growth of our country.
08:08Today, post-pandemic, at a time of extreme re-launch of the sector,
08:11also from a tourist point of view, we have supported three airports
08:15that go from Bergamo to Verona to the Tuscan airports,
08:18for all those that are investments in the expansion of the tracks,
08:21on the part of the terminal, on the part of investments that also go to renew
08:26to make airports more and more efficient from an energy point of view.
08:30The event was also an opportunity to present the manifesto of Italian airports,
08:34a document that summarizes in five points the values and objectives that move the airport system,
08:39a shared commitment for a present or future where mobility, development and innovation travel together.
08:45We have on the table the national plan for the development of airports by 2035,
08:49worked with all of you, worked with those in connection,
08:52worked with the stakeholders of the next publication.
08:55There is a desire for further openings that we are examining with all the competent entities.
09:03It has been a great 2024 and I think it could be an even better 2025.
09:10Despite the fact that someone is afraid of dams, of clashes, of geopolitics,
09:16I think the exact opposite will be true.
09:22New record for the cruises of the Port of Civitavecchia.
09:25In 2024 there were about 3,460,000 cruise passengers,
09:30both in transit and embarking and disembarking, in the Port of Rome,
09:33an increase of 4.3% compared to last year's record
09:37when the wall of 3 million cruisers was demolished for the first time in Italy.
09:42It is what emerged during the press conference
09:45held at the Committee Room of the Port Authority of Civitavecchia,
09:49during which Pino Musolino, extraordinary commissioner of the ADSP of the Martyrino Centro Settentrionale
09:55and the General Director of the Rome Cruise Terminal, John Portelli,
09:59illustrated the main results of cruise tourism in the Port of Civitavecchia.
10:04It is a very important result because it consolidates a position,
10:07numbers that are not only relevant here, but are relevant on a European and global basis.
10:14Let's not forget that the first European port, Barcelona, is now a shot from us
10:19and if it goes as I hope, we will be able to overcome it
10:23and to overcome it definitively in a couple of years.
10:26And we are well positioned among the first six cruise ports in the world.
10:31The largest increase is recorded with the passengers in Turnaround,
10:345.74% more than in 2023.
10:37Overall, it went from 49% in 2023 of passengers in Turnaround
10:42with the main line of the cruise to Civitavecchia,
10:45against 50% in traffic in 2024.
10:48In 2019, the percentage of passengers in Turnaround was attested at 42%.
10:53For the first time, more than 1.7 million passengers registered in Turnaround.
10:58This data confirms Civitavecchia as one of the most important Turnaround hubs in the world.
11:032024 was another record year for the Rome Cruise Terminal, for the Port of Civitavecchia.
11:10We hosted 3.4 million passengers, an increase of 5%,
11:16almost 6% in reality, on 2023, which was another record year,
11:22but the most important was an increase of 56% in 2019,
11:28that is, before the Covid stop,
11:32which means that the following process has returned
11:36and continues to make great numbers for the good of the port,
11:40the city and the entire territory of Lazio.
11:43A result that therefore represents an important milestone
11:46also for the development of tourism in the territory.
11:53Bringing the best of Italy abroad through the best of the Italian fair system.
11:59This is the mission of ITEX,
12:01the Italian Fair Association in Valencia International,
12:04which a year after its birth confirms itself as a crucial engine for Made in Italy on foreign markets.
12:10The fairs represented by ITEX have more than 2.8 million annual visitors,
12:16of which 750,000 come from abroad,
12:19and 26,000 exhibitors, of which 11,000 are foreigners.
12:23A launching pad for small and medium-sized Italian companies
12:26in search of global visibility and growth.
12:29Such an important representation,
12:32which guarantees, in addition to the coverage of the markets,
12:36of the domestic market in particular,
12:38the coverage of the best international markets,
12:40where Made in Italy continues to have a role of reference for its quality,
12:44for its ability to represent itself much better
12:49than what, from a manufacturing point of view, other countries are able to do.
12:54After the challenges of the post-pandemic,
12:56the Italian fair system remains an essential crossroads for international trade.
13:00And in addition to fair support, ITEX also focuses on digital transformation.
13:06We need to help a small and medium-sized company
13:08that is probably struggling to finance a certain type of information and innovation
13:14within its own companies.
13:15We know that professionalism is often lacking,
13:17but the road ahead and the objectives we have
13:20are precisely those of being able to solicit those in charge,
13:24those who have the responsibility to improve and enhance the information in the country,
13:28to reach the small and medium-sized company, which is in great need.
13:32One of the pillars of the ITEX operation
13:34is close cooperation with the Italian government.
13:36Through dialogue with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
13:39and the Ministry of Business and Made in Italy,
13:41ITEX works to unlock public funds,
13:43reduce the cost of participating in events for those coming from abroad
13:47and outline an industrial policy that supports and values
13:50Italian companies that target international markets.
13:54In all this, fortunately, there is a very strong alliance,
13:57an important support of foreign trade.
14:00And to this support of foreign trade,
14:03it is also necessary to add the relationship,
14:06the strategies and the industrial policy
14:08that ITEX is developing very closely
14:12and with a very high level of sensitivity with the government.
14:17With the support of institutions and the strength of the Fioristico system,
14:20ITEX has been working for a year
14:21to guarantee not only visibility to Italian companies,
14:24but also the tools to successfully compete
14:26for Italian excellence in international markets.
14:34Sarmo-Italy
14:57Energy for Sarmo, completed the Fognare collector
15:00at the service of 5 municipalities.
15:033rd edition of ESH Challenge, Irene launches the challenges for 2025
15:24With the closure of the unloading of Via Madonna delle Grazie in Gragnano,
15:28a new step forward for the disinclination of the Gulf of Naples,
15:31the Fognare collector has been completed, for the municipalities of Gragnano, Casola di Napoli, Lettere, Santa Maria la Carità and Castellammare di Stavia.
15:37An infrastructure made by Goria and financed with about 7 million euros from the Campania region,
15:43which will allow to collect the waste of 27,500 inhabitants at the Focesarno depot,
15:48contributing to the healing of the San Marco River.
15:51With the intervention we have carried out now,
15:54we manage to almost completely bonificate the Gulf of Naples,
15:58because these waters are then pumped into the Focesarno depot.
16:03It is really one of the strategic interventions that we have thought about in recent years.
16:07The entire coastline of the Campania, from here to a few months, will have water from the sea that can be bathed.
16:16A new environmental goal for the Campania is the healing of its waters,
16:19which also goes through the completion of the Fognare network of Gragnano,
16:23financed with over 10 million euros from the Energy for the Sarno program.
16:27Goria, however, does not stop here, because it is a technically organized and serious subject,
16:32because we are completing the works of the Fognature,
16:37always in this area, for another 8.5 km,
16:41which will then give the possibility to 18,000 more inhabitants to collect in Fogna.
16:49Within this summer, the work of completing, of de-pollution of the Sarno will be completed.
16:55We have taken the commitment for this generation and for those to come,
17:01to completely de-pollute the hydrographic reticulum of the Sarno
17:05and to restore the complete vulnerability to the sea of the splendid Gulf of Naples.
17:11We will erase a bad page of pollution and we will restore dignity to this territory.
17:17Facing the challenges of sustainability,
17:20declining in concrete interventions the ESG principles,
17:23and the goal of ESG Challenge IREN, the appointment, reached the third edition,
17:28designed by the IREN group to stimulate a lively and formative comparison between finance and the academic world,
17:33favoring an interaction between different generations on the main environmental challenges.
17:38During the event, hosted in the prestigious frame of Palazzo Madama in Turin,
17:42IREN presented the most important and urgent challenges of sustainability,
17:46the need to invest in the green transition,
17:48to lead the territories and institutions to form a team with the local communities.
17:52Deepened themes in the debate opened with the intervention of Luca Dalfabro,
17:56president of IREN, and continued with Telmo Pievani,
17:59philosopher of science and professor at the University of Padova.
18:02Following three roundtables dedicated to ESG finance,
18:05to the Just Transition and to the IREN territorial committees.
18:08To conclude the panels, the intervention of the mayor of Turin, Stefano Lorusso,
18:12who introduced the awarding ceremony of the 10 most innovative theses on ESG and sustainability,
18:18selected among more than 450 candidates.
18:21They all did a great job and focused on a very important topic for IREN,
18:26but I think for the economy, which is the ESG factor,
18:29therefore the environment, the social and the good governance.
18:33We believe that, let's say, doing business means having an important social responsibility.
18:39We must be able to combine business, society, environment and impact on the territory,
18:45in such a way as to be able to take advantage of it in the future.
18:47The challenge of the ecological transition and the fight against climate change
18:52is central in the strategy of the Turin administration.
18:55This ESG challenge goes in this direction, we are very happy to host it in Turin
19:01and this is the direction we have taken and it is the one we want to maintain.
19:04The winners were distinguished by a variety of themes,
19:08ranging from desertification to the emissions of green bonds for sustainable growth,
19:13up to the case studies on the production of green hydrogen
19:16and the analysis of international law related to the themes of sustainability.
19:20It is a great honor for me to have received this award,
19:23also because it allows us young people to be in the forefront,
19:27it gives us a voice because in the end tomorrow depends on us
19:32and therefore we must be the protagonists of this change towards a concretely more sustainable future.
