00:00Hello there, welcome to your latest weather forecast from the Met Office. Many of us seeing
00:05a rather grey day once again today. There will be some sunshine around, especially across
00:10north-western parts of Scotland again, maybe parts of western Wales and south-western England.
00:16But for many of us, grey skies, there will be some outbreaks of rain across parts of
00:20Northern Ireland and also along some North Sea coasts. As that rain moves a little bit
00:24further inland, we could see a little bit of hill snow here and there. But then later
00:28on in the afternoon, we may well just start to see a little bit of sunshine return across
00:33eastern parts of England. But for most of us, it's still going to be feeling rather
00:37cold, temperatures at best really reaching around 5-7 degrees, maybe up to 9 or 10 degrees
00:44across the very far south-west of England. Into the evening, very little changes, plenty
00:50of cloud around. The rain across Northern Ireland will gradually work its way into parts
00:54of western Scotland. As that bumps into the colder air, we could just see a little bit
00:58of sleet and snow. The clearest of the skies really across eastern parts of Scotland, down
01:03the spine of the UK into south-eastern England. So where we do see the clearest skies, we
01:08will see a touch of frost. But I think under the cloud cover elsewhere, most towns and
01:12cities staying above freezing. But for most, it's going to be another grey start to the
01:18day on Monday. The rain across Scotland, again we could see that turn to sleet and snow in
01:24places. So if you do have any travel plans across Scotland on Monday, do stay up to date
01:28with the latest forecast. Best of the sunshine come the afternoon, we'll be across parts
01:33of East Anglia, south-east England, a much sunnier end to the day here. But for most
01:38of us, plenty of cloud around with a return of some rain across Northern Ireland later
01:43on with an increasing southerly breeze here. But that will start to bring in some milder
01:47air here, so we could potentially be up to around 7-8 degrees by the end of the day.
01:53But probably the Isles of Scilly seeing the highest of the temperatures once again could
01:57see 9-10 degrees here. But for most of us, mid-single figures as we move into Monday
02:02afternoon. But that milder theme will slowly work its way across the country as we move
02:08throughout the week. So after another chilly day for most of us on Tuesday, all of us into
02:13double figures by Wednesday and potentially the mid-teens as we move into Thursday. That
02:18will come with a little bit of wind and rain in places, especially across more north-western
02:22parts of the country. But many of us also seeing some sunshine from time to time. But
02:26you can find out the weather details where you are on our app or on our website. But
02:31from me for now, take care and I'll see you again soon.
