01:24to resort to the state mechanism through the Ministry of Justice to save him in a case
01:28that is spread by pro-government media as a problem between private parties.
01:33After the interruption, the interviewer accepts the correction and asks the president how
01:37to follow up.
01:43In Argentina, the opposition benches in Congress asked to impeach President Javier Millet,
01:47who is involved in an alleged scam and illicit association for cryptocurrencies.

02:03The deputies of the opposition, Unión por la Patria, announced that they will promote

12:27level of the protocol to fight against extreme heat.
12:30In this sense, the heat wave is expected to continue, which could lead the city to decree
12:34the maximum level of alert and would mean the possibility of suspending outdoor events
12:39in the country.
12:45Paraguay's Vice Minister of the Rural Association, Zeferino Mendez, reported that more than 40,000
12:50animals had been displaced as a result of the severe drought in the country.
12:54The official also explained that the water shortage has forced many families to move
12:59and to relocate their animals, some of which do not survive the journey.
13:02It is worth highlighting that the La Niña phenomenon influences the ongoing drought,
13:07which experts forecast to remain for a while.
13:10In this context, the water deficit has been since 2024 and has a serious impact on the

14:48In the United States, hundreds of people protested against President Donald Trump and his policies
14:52as rallies held on the President's Day holiday.
14:55Nearly a thousand people marched in the snow from the state capitol in Boston to the City
15:00Hall, shouting slogans like, Elon Musk must go.
15:03These protests denounced Trump and his advisor, billionaire Elon Musk, who heads the Department
15:07of Government Efficiency, an entity outside the government aimed at cutting federal spending.
15:13The marches followed a series of Trump's executive orders and took place just days
15:17after staff cuts were reported at several federal agencies as part of an effort to reduce
15:22the government's workforce.
15:23I thought it was important to be here on President's Day to demonstrate for what America stands
15:33for.
15:34American values are not the values of the plutocracy or the limited few rich people.
15:40American values are about what we are as a country all together.
15:43It's about inclusion.
15:45It's about working together.
15:47It's about checks and balances.
15:49And all of that I'm afraid of being eroded with the current administration.
15:53I'm very concerned about the cuts in health care and health care research.
15:57I'm very concerned about the cuts in the federal spending because the federal government provides
16:01a lot of services and checks and balances and proper regulation to keep our country
16:07moving forward.
16:08It felt like I could finally see how many of us there are and how many of us are unhappy
16:14with the way that this country is moving.
16:17It's disappointing, truly, and I thought we had already been through this.
16:22And South Africa could turn to Russia or Iran to expand its civilian nuclear power capacity
16:26amidst tensions with the United States.
16:29South Africa's Minister of Mineral and Petroleum Resources and a leading advocate for nuclear
16:33capacity expansion, Wade Mantache, added that his country will accept any offer on the table
16:38with the best terms.
16:40The South African government, which operates Africa's only nuclear power plant, plans to
16:44add 2,500 megawatts of new capacity to address the power cuts that have affected the country's
16:50economy.
16:51This decision could deepen tensions with Washington, which have intensified after President Donald
16:56Trump issued a wide-ranging executive order suspending aid to South Africa.
17:10In Germany, British actress Tilda Swinton denounced inhumane treatment and genocide
17:21in Gaza at the opening of the 75th Berlin International Film Festival.
17:25This year, the British actress was awarded the honorary Golden Bear in recognition of
17:29her career.
17:30During her words of gratitude, she lashed out at the actions of some world leaders who
17:36allowed conflicts and sieges in various territories, such as Israel's genocide against the Palestinian
17:40people.
17:41The actress, known for her role in Michael Clayton's Once Upon a Time There Was a Genius,
17:47also expressed her desire for an inclusive and racism-free film industry.
17:52Berlin held 25 official films from more than 30 countries, including European and non-European
17:58countries such as Argentina, Brazil, China, South Korea, Australia, Palestine, and Egypt.
