00:00Now, back to Stiney and Guru on 95.7 The Game.
00:05Crossover time.
00:06That means Mark Willard and Dan Dibley are joining us.
00:10What's up, Dibs?
00:11How you doing?
00:12I'm doing great, and I can't help but notice that Guru, is that shirt, is that a Smedium?
00:17It's an XL.
00:18I was double XL, so shout out to AbundantLifeWeightLoss.com.
00:23They've taught your boy the secret to losing one pound of fat.
00:25I was thinking that you used to be like rocking the double X, and now I'm looking at that
00:29and thinking it's an X, and I don't love the cowboy shirt, but I see that you got
00:33some room in there.
00:34The guns are filling up the arms.
00:35They call it slack.
00:36Okay.
00:37Yeah.
00:38I didn't need to sniff for all this, but you're looking good.
00:41I appreciate it.
00:42I feel light as a feather, and I'm just trying to do my due diligence.
00:46I like it.
00:48I just want my friends and family to be a part of it, too, because they're starting
00:51to say, hey, Guru, we see some gains, and that's why I'm juicing.
00:54I appreciate you coming on.
00:55No problem.
00:56And you should get-
00:57Then they see some losses.
00:59Then they see some losses.
01:00I knew you weren't going to be able to let that one go.
01:01No.
01:02Yeah.
01:03Yeah.
01:04Gains.
01:05I mean, I'm leaving on vacation.
01:06I got to give myself that.
01:07You promised to lay out-
01:08Some gains in the journey.
01:09Yeah.
01:10Some gains in the-
01:11You promised to lay out.
01:12I got it.
01:13I got it.
01:14He's having some weight loss gains, which-
01:15It is a funny-
01:16It's funny.
01:17It's a little bit of an oxymoron.
01:18It is funny.
01:19I know.
01:20Exactly.
01:21Exactly.
01:22I mean, you referred to yourself as a comedian yesterday.
01:23You have to appreciate comedy when it shows up.
01:25That's not comedy.
01:26It was funny.
01:27That's mean-spirited-
01:29Pointing out someone who's wrong.
01:30Yeah.
01:31I'm used to it.
01:32He's not wrong.
01:33It's just funny.
01:34Because they missed your air.
01:35We just had KC Johnson on.
01:36It was funny.
01:37Johnny forgot where he worked and how long he had been gone.
01:38I didn't forget.
01:39Oh, wow.
01:40I got solid.
01:41I got it wrong.
01:42Hey, you got to hear it.
01:43I go back 30 years with a guy.
01:44I'm like, KC Johnson writes for the Chicago Tribune, also NBC Sports Chicago.
01:48Hey, KC.
01:49How you doing, buddy?
01:50He goes, yeah, I left the Tribune six years ago.
01:51Then he read the second one.
01:52He goes, that went away.
01:53Oh, you had to hear it.
01:54Oh, no.
01:55I got it wrong.
01:56I got it wrong.
01:58I can do you one better.
02:00The last time we had Charles Davis on for the NFL season was many, many months ago because
02:08I've been used to having Charles on when we were doing Fox Sports radio stuff forever.
02:13I could not get it out of my head that he's not at Fox anymore.
02:16So I bring him on, big intro, my guy, we've been doing it for years, Charles Davis with
02:21NFL on Fox.
02:22And he starts the entire conversation, he's like, it's great to be here, but I'm on CBS.
02:29Flash forward six months later, we have him on again.
02:32I do the exact same thing again.
02:34Oh, no.
02:35He's like, dude.
02:36That's not like you, Willard.
02:37He's like, you've got to stop.
02:38Wow.
02:39You really, you've got to stop doing this now.
02:41That's pretty good.
02:42Here's what happens.
02:43Here's what happens.
02:44Sham Sharanya from Yahoo Sports joins us.
02:47Exactly.
02:48And that's like three back or whatever.
02:49How about this one, as long as we're on him?
02:51This one happened about five years ago.
02:54We brought in Terry Steinbach.
02:56Remember the old day?
02:57Yeah.
02:58We went into May's conversation.
02:59Twins.
03:00Twins.
03:01He was a coach for the Twins and I'm like, you're with Minnesota and he goes, I got let
03:09go by Minnesota.
03:10Dude.
03:11Oh, man.
03:12I've been fired.
03:13Want to get away?
03:14Yeah, I got let go from Minnesota.
03:17Okay.
03:18I mean, those are always tough.
03:21Yeah.
03:22Like today, it's my buddy, Casey, so he can talk about it.
03:25And I'm going to say this to a man that I respect.
03:27We all do.
03:28And a guy that we love.
03:30But Tim Kawakami, San Jose Mercury News.
03:35And then he went to...
03:36That's four jobs ago.
03:37He's in the Standard now.
03:38The Athletic.
03:39The SF Standard.
03:40And so, you know, people like that, David Lombardi.
03:43It's like, you know, sometimes you got to Google it, Trent Balke.
03:46And sometimes you're a job behind.
03:48It's okay.
03:49Yeah.
03:50It's all good.
03:51And it's cool to be in here in this room with guru and Warriors beat writer, Matt Steinbach.
03:54Exactly.
03:55Oh, exactly.
03:56Singleton Press Democrat.
03:57There you go.
03:58Matt Simons.
03:59Or you could, you know, Comcast, Sportsnet, Bay Area.
04:02We could do that.
04:03My man.
04:04That dates me.
04:05That's my quarterback.
04:06It does, yeah.
04:07So, we had a couple interesting guests on.
04:09Steve Ashburner, senior writer for NBA.com.
04:12Steve Ashburn it down.
04:14We're going to get into it.
04:15We're going to get into it.
04:16I'm not...
04:17No, you shouldn't get killed.
04:18No.
04:19This is another man's opinion.
04:20I hate the opinion.
04:22I can't wait to talk about it.
04:24I can't wait.
04:25KC Johnson.
04:26I don't know if you heard him.
04:27No, because we're in the other room listening to Ashburner or whatever his name is.
04:32Really it's great.
04:33It was one guy who talked a lot about Jimmy Butler's negatives and one guy who talked
04:37a lot about the positives that he brings to the table.
04:41They had very different views of Jimmy Butler.
04:45Well, that's fine.
04:47Off the court.
04:48What I'm having a hard time understanding, and I think it's an NBA thing, because in
04:53the NBA, we look at these players.
04:55There's no helmets.
04:56There's no hats.
04:57And there's just a small handful of them, NBA ones, right?
05:01And they get painted as divas.
05:03They've got these guaranteed contracts.
05:06And they will do the exact same thing that eight guys do in the NFL every year.
05:13And then we freak out because they, quote, quit on their teammates.
05:16Someone explain to me.
05:17Give me one difference between Jimmy Butler and Trent Williams.
05:21Well, I can't think of one difference.
05:26And I never heard someone say, Trent Williams, this is inappropriate.
05:30You quit on your teammates in Washington.
05:33Maybe it's because everyone hated the owner, so they understood it, and Miami's a respected
05:37organization.
05:38I don't know if that's what it is.
05:40I don't see the difference.
05:41Yeah, I didn't compare him to any football players.
05:46Again, with Jimmy Butler, he's working within the framework of what the NBA's become, which
05:52means if you've got juice, you can use it and get where you want.
05:56And we've seen it with a bunch of players.
05:58And that's how you find out if a player has juice or not, whether they can actually pull
06:01it off.
06:02And Jimmy pulled it off.
06:04So I just chronicled that he's had some problems in different areas when he's been around for
06:13a while.
06:15But obviously, even Ashburner, did you hear the part where he said, I think they could
06:19make a Western Conference Finals run with Jimmy.
06:22I did not hear that part.
06:23Yeah, he said, I'm not crazy about what he's done and how he's conducted himself, but he's
06:29a hell of a player and blah, blah, blah.
06:31Well, the part that got me going, and we should play it for everybody so they know what we're
06:34talking about, but he's kind of finger-wagging at the Warriors.
06:37I'm not mad, but I'm disappointed.
06:39I'm a little disappointed.
06:41I wanted to like Steve.
06:42Classy organization, but hey, if you want to just get what you want, yeah, they want
06:48to get what they want.
06:49What the hell?
06:50And he's not committed any felonies.
06:51He hadn't put hands or paws on any of his teammates.
06:55I'm just saying that was a bit strong, but it lets you know, like, damn.
06:59He challenged them to it, but no one stepped up in Minnesota.
07:03He said, any of you want a piece?
07:06And Wiggins went K-Wig.
07:09Your kitty cat went on the scratching post and, you know, all the rest of it.
07:14You can laugh.
07:15That was funny.
07:16And you taught me laughing to the mic.
07:17You don't smile behind it.
07:19You laugh.
07:20This guy, all he does is grin.
07:21Oh, okay.
07:22But to your point, not like.
07:23The YouTube audience knows that you thought that was funny.
07:24He's going to be on the red eye tonight.
07:27NBA ones.
07:28Like how many NBA ones have that au jus as we talk about prime rib with au jus, and if
07:36you look at the list, there aren't that many.
07:39Like Jokic, if he wanted to go full on, Jimmy Butler, yeah, sure.
07:44Embiid?
07:45I don't think anymore.
07:46Exactly.
07:47I think his career might be in trouble.
07:48Kawhi Leonard?
07:49Well, he's done it.
07:50In his prime.
07:51Yeah.
07:52In his prime.
07:53He did it with the Spurs.
07:54Giannis might be able to do it.
07:56Oh, my gosh.
07:57For sure.
07:58Giannis, and I'm looking just at the list of salaries, LeBron James, yeah, and I mean,
08:04you go down the list.
08:05Could Trey Young really, could Trey Young like flex on Atlanta?
08:09They might like say, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, Trey, man, you just did that thing.
08:15No, I think it's a lot more people than you, than you think.
08:18Laurie Markkinen?
08:19You're going to flex on Utah?
08:20Yeah, I mean, he could, but he got paid, but he paid them.
08:25He never, never went anywhere.
08:27Dame Lillard did it.
08:28Well, he did it in Portland, but he can't do it now in Milwaukee.
08:30SGA can do it easy.
08:32Why not?
08:33I'm just talking about right now.
08:34Who's an NBA one who could flex on their team, like Anthony Edwards could flex on Anisota?
08:41Tatum.
08:42Yep.
08:43But I mean, if a player wants out, I mean, D'Aaron Fox just did it.
08:46He did do it.
08:47And he got out.
08:48Yeah.
08:49I don't know.
08:50I mean, is D'Aaron Fox like that dude?
08:51NBA one?
08:52He's a good player, but I don't think he's in the conversation we were just having, but
08:57he did it.
08:58I just, you know, again, like this is-
09:01There was no crime.
09:02This is player empowerment and it bothers a lot of people and LeBron is at the forefront
09:08of this, but it has worked its way through all sports.
09:12Kirk Cousins was the first quarterback to be like, you're going to fully guarantee my
09:16contract.
09:17As much as we laughed at him.
09:18And then they did.
09:19Yeah.
09:20And then they did.
09:21And I mean, Deshaun Watson is still sitting here, the worst contract in sports, but how's
09:23he doing?
09:24Got $230 million and forced his way to a spot and it turns out he's not even a good player.
09:30Like there's-
09:31Did you say Debo?
09:32No, but I mean, I don't think that applies because I think the Niners are happy to move
09:37Debo on.
09:38He cashed that chip a couple years ago.
09:39They asked Debo to take a pay cut.
09:40I mean, Aaron Rodgers is a guy who did that.
09:43He did it.
09:44I don't think he can do it anymore.
09:45No, he couldn't.
09:46He's not good enough.
09:47But anybody who's good can go to their boss and be like, I'm out, like I'm not doing this
09:53anymore.
09:54So, and I-
09:55It's not over is how I believe it.
09:57Like there'll be another Jimmy Butler to your exercise.
10:00I guess I'm just not offended by it.
10:02Either am I.
10:03It's interesting to me how many fans will look at this and go, oh, he left his teammates.
10:08And every time it's like, when you do that, you're automatically, you're backing ownership
10:13and nobody asked for loyalty from them.
10:16Nobody asked for loyalty from them, especially if you want to talk in the NFL.
10:20It's crazy.
10:21Well, in the NBA, the loyalty is we're going to give you a fully guaranteed contract and
10:25we're going to expect you to, you know, play basketball during that contract.
10:29That for me is the loyalty they show you.
10:32And so, you know, Jimmy-
10:33But how's that loyalty?
10:34That's an expectation.
10:35It is.
10:36Loyalty would be like, we're not going to trade you or we're not going to bench you.
10:40Would Miami have traded Jimmy Butler if he didn't want to be traded?
10:43Never.
10:44Of course not.
10:45I don't know.
10:46They wouldn't pay him what he was worth.
10:47But he had a player option for the contract that he signed.
10:50Understood.
10:51So, from Miami's standpoint, it is, you know, we gave you this contract and now you're not
10:55even through it and you want out?
10:57Yeah.
10:58So, it is not them being disloyal.
10:59Well, why?
11:00Again, that's not about disloyalty.
11:02It's about why do we only ask that of the player is what I'm saying.
11:06We only ask that of the player.
11:07Oh, you signed the contract.
11:09You have to honor the contract.
11:11Well, the team doesn't.
11:13We have a buyout market.
11:14We have trades.
11:15We have benchings.
11:16Now, the NBA and Major League Baseball are at least forced because they are guaranteed
11:22contracts.
11:23I understand from that standpoint.
11:24But we don't demand that when a contract is agreed to, that the team see it through.
11:31We only demand that the player see it through.
11:32No, no, no.
11:33The team has to pay it through.
11:34Unless they opt to move it somewhere else or buy it out.
11:38Right.
11:39But if Jimmy Butler never said a word and he played it out and they wanted to buy him
11:44out, that's $95 million and then he gets to go somewhere anyway.
11:47Understood.
11:48So, they would never do that.
11:49Understood.
11:50But at the same time, they can do a lot of different things.
11:54And they did.
11:55I mean, you don't wait to negotiate until a contract is up.
12:00You do it before that.
12:01That's what anybody would do.
12:03Right.
12:04Especially when you're empowered.
12:05And Jimmy is.
12:06And so, he did.
12:07And they were like, we're not doing what you want.
12:10Then his only power is to say, well, then I'm not doing what you want.
12:13Exactly.
12:14That's the one thing that makes me a little bit cautious about this experiment here.
12:19When we talk about two and a half years of Jimmy Butler, it's really one and a half years
12:23of Jimmy Butler.
12:24And it's really one year of Jimmy Butler.
12:26Maybe.
12:27When you get through next year, do you think that Jimmy wants another contract?
12:31Probably.
12:32Right.
12:33So, he plays out this year.
12:35At some level.
12:36Maybe.
12:37You play out this year and you get into next year and you get into like, you know, getting
12:42close to February and it's like, now I'm down to just a year and a half.
12:45I want an extension.
12:46And he's done that before.
12:47And if the Warriors are like, Jimmy, I mean, you've barely been here a year.
12:52We don't want to do that.
12:53It's possible that he goes back into Jimmy doesn't want to play mode.
12:58And that's kind of what Steve Ashburner was saying.
13:00No doubt.
13:01But I would bet, I know how I would respond to that, and I bet most Warrior fans would
13:04agree with me, is like, in this moment, who cares?
13:09Who cares?
13:10That's fair.
13:11That's a year from now.
13:13But it's even more than that.
13:16I look at it now and say, that's what I was wrong about two weeks ago.
13:21Like that's some of the stuff I was worried about.
13:23And now because they've declared so much at such a level for now, like now we're asking
13:29about, are you worried about when Steph's about to turn 38 and 39?
13:33Like I don't care.
13:34I'm with you, man.
13:35If it blows up, there's ways to get out of it.
13:37It's short term enough that what's happening now makes it worth it.
13:41And that's hard to tell.
13:42I'll go ahead.
13:43This is the 95-7 of the game, KGMZ FM and HD1 San Francisco, always live on the Free
13:47Odyssey app, Twitch and YouTube powered by First NorCal Credit Union.
13:50And we brought it up, and before Ashburner came on, Denzel and I asked you, is that not
13:54that Stoddy woke up this morning trying to hate on Jimmy Butler, but it's five and one,
13:59there's a euphoria, there's a newfound enthusiasm, and I just, the parallels to a relationship
14:04just, they fascinate me.
14:06If I'm dating somebody that's been divorced three times, but you're mine, I don't sit
14:11there and talk to you about what went wrong in those three other relationships.
14:15We can have that conversation, but it won't be every time.
14:19And if I'm a spouse, I'm like, okay, it's you and I against the world.
14:22Let's go have fun and build what we build.
14:25Why are we talking about what could possibly revert and go wrong?
14:28Well, you better know what went wrong.
14:30Like if you're marrying a woman and she's been through three and you're number four,
14:35you better know what happened the first three.
14:38If you want to look at his first three, it was Chicago, Chicago, things got sour, Minnesota,
14:47he blew it up.
14:48Miami.
14:49Yeah, well, I mean, Philadelphia to me was a stopover.
14:52Philadelphia was kind of like a tinder or a bumble.
14:54But if I'm willing to take on that chance on whatever your answer was on what went wrong,
14:58and I'm your fourth, okay, but we don't have to talk about it every time.
15:02And that's why I'm like, let's enjoy the party.
15:05You don't have to talk about it every time.
15:07If you look at Jimmy Butler, and you are spouse number four, and you know what went
15:11wrong in a B and C, you should try to do everything you can to avoid a B and C happening again.
15:18And that's where I give the Warriors credit because for me, Miami blew up because he wanted
15:23that bag.
15:24And so Golden State said, here's the bag.
15:27And I think Minnesota blew up because he didn't have OGs to play with.
15:32Here's some OGs.
15:34I think Chicago blew up because you had Derrick Rose get hurt and that whole thing.
15:38You mentioned Joakim Noah and other names.
15:42The names you were throwing out made me feel nostalgic.
15:44And I was like, oh my god, that's right.
15:46And then that thing broke apart the way, if this thing breaks apart that way, well, Jimmy,
15:51you're 38.
15:52Now you got no options, bro.
15:54So I do think the Warriors are aware of what happened before.
15:57And I think that they've mitigated them by what they have.
16:02Yeah, I mean, you have to be aware of what he's done and then you weigh the risk and
16:05reward.
16:06And right now it looks like the reward is worth the risk.
16:11And maybe there will never be a risk you're going to have to deal with.
16:15But, you know, to ignore it would be foolish.
16:19But yeah, to talk about it all the time would also be foolish.
16:23But it's part of his past and we'll see what he does here.
16:28They need each other.
16:29Both parties needed each other like all outdoor.
16:32And I get that.
16:33It's like, I mean, he's been extended, but it's a very short extension.
16:36It's a short extension in the circumstances with the age of the stars that we're talking
16:40about make it that I now feel like this is less risky than how I felt about it even two
16:46weeks ago.
16:47There's still a last dance field of this.
16:49Well, I don't know about that.
16:53What I was concerned about was A, the extension and B, did you just like use up all the flexibility
17:00that you had for the next two years?
17:02The Warriors have responded in the way that as a fan, I really hope that I hope that I
17:07take them at their word because Joe Lacob has done this in the past, that they are still
17:11willing to make a lot of deals like they are still willing to sign Jonathan Kaminga and
17:16go into the tax and do all of these things.
17:19If that's the case and you're still feeling flexible, then I have many fewer concerns,
17:25even if this were to blow up 18 months from now.
17:28Why were the Warriors able to get a player as good as Jimmy Butler for as little as they
17:36got him for?
17:37It was a blessing because of his theatrics.
17:40Exactly.
17:41So like that, it's part of the equation.
17:43It just it is.
17:44And the Warriors waited and they feel like it's going to be okay for a couple of years.
17:48But I've sort of arrived at a spot that when that happens with an organization, the blame
17:52is shared.
17:53Oh, I'm not saying it isn't like Miami has done what Dallas did.
17:59Do it in the weeds.
18:00If you see something coming, do it, do it in the middle of the night when no one realizes
18:04that there's a problem.
18:06You know, the 49ers and Brandon Iuke last summer, I was that was blood was on everybody's
18:10hands and there's like there's still hurt feelings now because of it.
18:15So, you know, we can put this all on Jimmy for being a malcontent.
18:19And I don't think he behaved perfectly, but he behaved as people do when the stakes keep
18:25getting raised and he had power and he asked for some things to happen and they didn't
18:29happen and people start fighting and that's the way it goes.
18:33Yeah, I do like what you said about the Draymond Green part of it as it pertains to, you know,
18:39what the offseason might bring.
18:40And I just wonder what you guys would think about a Steph, Jimmy, KD, and everyone core,
18:48no Kaminga, or you have Steph, Draymond, Jimmy, Kaminga, and the rest of them.
18:55Which one would you rather have?
18:56Because I can't help but think about a Draymond and Kaminga sign and trade for KD, whatever
19:02picks go or, you know, whatnot.
19:05But like, which one do you, it's more appetizing.
19:07I would take Durant.
19:08You'd take Steph, Jimmy, Durant, and...
19:12If you have to move Kaminga and Draymond, I would.
19:14Right.
19:15And I mean, you wind up with Pods and Moody and TJD and Quinton and...
19:19You're not reading the chessboard.
19:20I'm right behind Stiney, but that shit, Draymond's a lifer.
19:24And his relationship with Kermit, to me...
19:25They tried to trade him for KD?
19:27Yeah, allegedly.
19:28They tried to, I've talked to multiple people in the organization, he was on the table.
19:33I don't believe that.
19:34He was on the table.
19:35Yeah.
19:36Yeah.
19:37He was on the table.
19:38He was ready to package and ready to go.
19:39If KD says yes, Draymond is a son.
19:41He's gone.
19:42I don't believe that.
19:43I do believe it.
19:44100%.
19:45That's interesting.
19:46I don't believe that.
19:47Where can I read that in print?
19:48I don't think I can.
19:49Probably Chez Charani.
19:50It's not in print, but...
19:51Yeah.
19:52I don't know how you...
19:53Nobody here locally has put that on paper.
19:54I don't know how you get KD without Draymond being a part of it.
19:58I mean, it's not going to be Wiggins and Kaminga and...
20:00I get that, but that's...
20:02I just feel like...
20:03I'll bet you that Draymond's not going to be a lifer.
20:04No.
20:05I don't think he's going to end his contract here.
20:06Are you going to put that in the cap?
20:07No.
20:08I mean, I'm just...
20:09Put it in the cap.
20:10Well, I...
20:11Listen, if you...
20:12Do you remember we used to put things in the cap?
20:13Yeah.
20:14I remember.
20:15Yeah.
20:16Absolutely.
20:17We had a show together, baby.
20:18Yeah.
20:19I mean, I don't...
20:2051 weeks.
20:21Longest year of my life.
20:22Oh, boy.
20:23I remember I...
20:24You know, four years ago, I was like, dude, how many of the big three do you think will
20:25retire here?
20:26And you said three.
20:27I said three.
20:28And I said, I don't think so.
20:29But I thought after the pool situation, Dray was attainable.
20:32Like, they were tired of it.
20:34But he got rewarded with four for a hundred.
20:36Will, all I'm saying is, I don't believe Dray.
20:39His relationship is...
20:41He's a byproduct of Steph.
20:43And he's brought something to the table.
20:44They gave him a new deal.
20:45Two years ago, they gave him a new deal.
20:46And I would just be shocked.
20:47Yeah.
20:48I got you.
20:49But that...
20:50I would just be shocked.
20:51To me, that deal is really attractive if you are a team.
20:52I got you.
20:53You know, next year, off-season or deadline, and he's only making $25 million, and he still
20:59is a winning player.
21:00If I'm a team that needs a dog, that's attractive to me.
21:03But what if they go on this run without Kevin Durant, as is?
21:07Why would you need to...
21:08No, you wouldn't.
21:09You know what I mean?
21:10It's like, we got action with Dray.
21:12But if you're the sixth seed and Memphis beats you in five, all of a sudden now, you look
21:17at it and go, man, maybe we need Giannis or KD.
21:21Whatever we need, maybe we need it.
21:23Well, it'll be circumstantial.
21:24Absolutely.
21:25Of course.
21:26Which is what Mike Dunleavy has done really well.
21:28And it ended up turning his way, it appears.
21:31It's still only been six games.
21:32But yeah, two weeks ago, I'd have been with you, Stoney.
21:35I would have said Kevin Durant.
21:36But based on where we sit now, even though it's only been six games, I'm so attracted
21:41to what they were able to keep.
21:43That's amazing.
21:44You know what I mean?
21:45And I'm not saying two timelines by any of that stretch.
21:47It's more just about...
21:49It is about Kaminga, but also the draft picks.
21:52That's part of why I don't worry about Jimmy's attitude.
21:56The whole thing about this that's great, there's five and one, and you look good, but
22:02it feels risk-free.
22:04Like you can just wiggle right out of this if it doesn't go well.
22:07Real quick, I called the Warriors desperate.
22:10My buddy texted me like, how could they be desperate?
22:12They didn't give up everything.
22:13But I go, they still were desperate.
22:15They needed an infusion of what Jimmy brought.
22:17They were going to do something come hell or high water.
22:20That feels like a measure of desperation.
22:22And they gave up next to nothing.
22:24If the pick they gave up was number 20, you gave up nothing.
22:27Before you go...
22:28I'm mad.
22:29A little O.P.
22:30Stiney.
22:31That was a noise.
22:32One piece of advice before you go.
22:34And I need you to look at me.
22:36Are you giving it to him or asking him for it?
22:38I'm giving it to him.
22:39I need you to look at me.
22:40I'm from Dibbs.
22:41This makes careers.
22:42Listen.
22:43I've played golf with you for 17 years, and I haven't played with you lately, but look
22:47at me, Stiney.
22:49Take an extra club.
22:51If you think it's a 7-iron, pull the 6.
22:54Hit one extra club.
22:55My man.
22:56Where are you going?
22:57Everywhere.
22:58Kiewa, South Carolina.
22:59Wow.
23:00It's his annual trip to Kiewa.
23:01I get it.
23:02Every year, he comes back.
23:03You got to discuss this without me.
23:04He's using...
23:05No.
23:06I have a couple more minutes.
23:07Guys, have a great rest of the show.
23:08Stiney.
23:09I'm impressed by you.
23:10Have fun on 95.7.
23:11Hit one extra.
23:12You're welcome.
23:13Will do.
23:15He won't.
23:16My guys.
23:17I'm not going to do it.
23:18I'm not going to do it.
23:19I'm not going to do it.
