00:00So we are on Suckey Hall Street and we've been trying to get what people love most about Glasgow and what they would do
00:05if they had a free day in the city.
00:08I generally prefer to keep to myself or
00:10go to a friend's house or something.
00:13Probably get up pretty late 12 p.m. And then I'd head out with my girlfriend for lunch.
00:18Glasgow's great when you have high-quality relationships.
00:21It's like any place really.
00:23I don't know, the city or the urban environment or be it a rural environment,
00:28it is merely a backdrop to quality of relationships.
00:31So I would love to go for a wee run and then go out for a nice meal and a glass of wine afterwards.
00:38I'd go for a walk in a free park because they're beautiful and I'd maybe go to an art gallery which again is free in Glasgow
00:44which they need to protect. And then I might go to the GFT and watch a nice film.
00:49You can meet anyone in Glasgow.
00:51And where would you go?
00:51Where would I go? Probably somewhere in the West End, maybe a butcher shop in the West End.
00:56The butchers.
00:58A nice steak's nice. My wife likes steak. So yeah, that would do.
01:01If you have a real drought of relationships in your life,
01:05what could be the problem?
01:07I've seen the Bob Dylan,
01:09what's it called?
01:10Don't look back. Anyway, the last Bob Dylan one, it was very good.
01:15Yeah, and we've seen Anora.
01:17Anora, yes, which was very good as well. So I know it kind of takes you away, escapism.
01:23There's a really nice place in George Square that I really like.
01:26I can't remember the name of it. It was called Browns at one point.
01:30Where would you go for brunch?
01:32Any fast food place, maybe Paisano or something. We love pizza.
01:37Or a burger place. I don't know.
01:39And after that, play some chess. I love chess.
01:41Sugo is very nice.
01:43Paisano is very nice.
01:45Those are all, of course, everyone knows those.
01:47Maybe have a couple of drinks and then get a taxi home.
01:50No, fantastic.
01:52But yeah, I would go there. That's quite a good, lavish place to start.
01:56And then, I don't know, I think I'd have to take time out of the day to sort of free myself of those inhibitions about spending money and try and maybe treat myself.
02:05St. Aloysius Cathedral, I'm going to sit by myself for around an hour or two and just think about stuff.
02:12I like fast food. I like Five Guys. I like Paisano, as I said.
02:16I like Bucks Burger, I like the Bucks place.
02:19Yeah, these kind of places. Fast food places, I'd say.
02:21And K-Cal Kitchen, if I wanted for dieting. Probably these.
02:25The architecture in Glasgow's cathedrals are beautiful.
02:28Definitely the arts sector. That is where the museums and the theatres are.
02:33That is really quite a good way to spend your money, because you'll get something out of that that will last a bit longer than a material product.
02:40It's beautiful, yeah. You can enjoy it even if you're not religious.
02:43Sorbonne Art Gallery, the modern art museum.
02:45Yeah, yeah, yeah.
02:47Yeah, that's it, yeah.
